i have been a silent spectator in the forum for quite a while now i would like to get my profile evaluated ..

qualification b.e chemical engineering in 2010 completed in which country?
experience working in US mnc for 1 year to be precise 10 months12 points for Area of Training & 4 pts for work exp more than 6 months but less than 2 yrs
age 24 years16 pts
ielts expect 7 band in speaking and atleast 7 in listening if u get as per expectations the L: 2 pts & S: 3 pts, total 5 pts
financial self sufficiency no problem1 point
french delf a2 with 24 in production orale3 points nut just 13 in comprehensin orale1 point
will soon be giving delf b1 and delf b2 together and ope to pass in both want to apply by end of may.
plz rate my chances as per recent changes in selection criteria
i suggest if you can wait till the results of B1/B2 and then send your file along with these test results, it will add up more points to your file.
Anyways your education is in priority so you will get CSQ within max 4-6 month and federal PR will take another 6-8 months if applying from US.
Being in Group 1 will be an advantage, as there is no quota cap on number of applications.
also i was going through forms and i have several queries related to that..
1.if i submit with delf b2 by end of may and then i continue taking classes and pass dalf c1 can i submit it at a later stage will it increase my points in french or will they lock it permanently
yes, you can. As per info from one forum member todayitself, that it is possible.
2. in the new forms availaible on site they say certified true copies required, do i need to get them attested only by institutions who have issued say my degree marksheets or my school marksheets or can i get them notary certified instead. do as they have asked. If it is specifically mentioned to submit certified copies then it must be done by that way only. Else, if they mentioned as "notarized copies/certified true copies," you can submit either of them
3. for language proficiency in english and french the form A1520 AA titled documents submitted in support of application for selection certificate says that i have to submit original does that mean i have to send them original delf and ielts marsheets and TRF or the notary certified copies will suffice. you must submit original certificates for language tests. These will be returned once your CSQ is issued.
i am not getting how can they demand original diplomas or ,marksheets of delf

4. also for the birth certificate they say true certified copy which means i have to go the authority whuch issued birth certificate which is very difficult here in india can i just submit notary certified instead pls see my previous answer


plz guide on these and i will further post my queries as i have lots of them...

Dear Mkshah,Javed,hec and other Seniors please comment!

In my whole application process when i updated BIQ with my DELF certificates in 2011 and in 2012 i never use the A-0520-MA apllication form which is used for Changes(i just write a letter and attacch the required documetns). Because I was of the oppinion that as i processed my application in 2010 & it was not the general practice than to update everytime by using this form.

My question is What should i do now..Should i send them the A-0520-MA form with all the documents which i already submitted to them or not.

MKShah and HEC are right you should inform them by sending this form and attached photocopies of your previous correspondences related to update.

I moved from Saudia to Bahrain at that time there was no form so I informed them by send a letter but recently I saw this form in late Feb 2012 on the web so I send this form to update my information (but I didn't receive any response from them as yet)

You are in group 2 and under cap system, if you have completed chemical engineering in 4 years outside of quebec.

Code - U055

If the degree is completed in Quebec or it is 3 years bachelor degree in chemistry, then only, you are in group 1 priority U020

it is really lucky for you that still you have almost 4 months remaining in completion of 5 years period for your education.
Also, as you mention you are air transportation engineer.
So your education will be any one among the below list:
1. Avionics (12 points of AOT)
2. Air Construction Techiniques (16 points of AOT)
3. Aerospace, aeronautical, astronautical Engineering. (16 points of AOT)

so hec006 rightly said, you must not wait any further, and submit all documents as early as possible.

regarding translation of documents, if the language of document is other than english or french, then only they require a translation of this document in either english or french.

Do you have all documents in english or french?
IF yes, then no need to go for translation.

My diploma says exactly "Air transportation engineer" and I am not sure how they will interpret it since it could also be considered as Transportation logistics techniques which is in group 2 If I am not wrong.
My documents are not in English nor French, the only two papers I don't have to translate are IELTS result and DELF result.. I hope I will make it on time..

yes , it looks like a mixture of Mechanical, Aerospace and Instrumentation engineering as there are Meteorology. But the objective and major subjects are aerospace, so you will be categrized as aerospace category definitely. Please evaluate your degree with Quebec equivalent once by Immigration authority. Then you will have strong proof to submit. By the way it's a 4 year or 3 year course?

This degree is conducted by Mechanical & aerospace dept jointly.

I have not recd. any response to my email. But I tried asking this again to another person from the BIQ on phone and they stated that in general, you can submit that form for any changes to your application. But she did not mention if that is applicable for language points or not. I don't think they know much about it.
