Bajan4Quebec,
Its so frustrating and feel very bad to hear that... :-\ this is not fair...I applied in 2010 and updated the BIQ with DELF A1 in 2011 and with DELF A2 in 2012..Does it mean that i will not have the french points, because i applied with zero knowledge of French??
This is peculiar...what I mean is you applied way in advance before the rules changed where it is now mandatory to show evidence of knowing the language. Don't get me wrong I'm not stating to Lie but why didn't you state on your application that you knew some degree of French and then work towards attaining that level so when asked you can redily show as proof. None the less, the fact that you submitted your application without claiming French and received an initial AOR means your file was opened and satisfy the initial requirements...I could only see the updates you gave them prove that you have a desire to master the language spoken there, keep your records with you and once called for an interview you can show them to claim points for adaptibility

:) Is it the reliable Ranking... I think 1.US 2. Canada. 3. Switzerland.. 4. Britain...

Yes... Happiness depends on lot more things(Money, Health, Friends to Call, Good Governance, Friends, Family, Free from Anxiety.....) That's why the ranking is like that. :)

It's 158 page book On Happiness.

Experts, I badly need your opinion.

Good morning!

I had submitted my application for CSQ on the 24th of March 2012 --- received and stamped by the BIQ HK on the 26th of March 2012.

On my application, I selected NO on the "Have you ever applied for Permanent Residence in Canada except Quebec" though I have had applied for the FSW category on JULY 2010. I got my E-CAS number but then I have had my application withdrawn.

My question is that:

1. Should I have had selected YES on the "Have you ever applied for Permanent Residence in Canada except Quebec" or I did have the correct choice of selecting "NO" though I have had received my E-CAS under FSW and have it withdrawn?

if YES should be my choice:

1a. When is the best time for me to update BIQ HK as for the reason that I haven't declared on my application form specifically on the Application Selection Certificate (A-0520-AA) that I had applied on the FSW category last July 2010 and that I had withdrawn my application.

1b. Should I wait for my AOR first before I update them or it'll be a lot better to update them as soon as possible?

1c. I already withdrawn my application. What should I select on the choices? Accepted? Denied? Waiting for Decision?

2. Would this deviation on my application cause vital effect on my CSQ application?

Thank you in advance!

hello patriots1700,
welcome to the forum,

here is the info you asked for.
1. It seems that you have a DVS (DVS = Diploma of Vocational Studies) done in IT, so pls confirm if it fits as "Computer Support DVS, 1800 hours or 2 years". If yes, then you will be able to get into Group 2 (6 points).

2 & 3. Pls confirm this 1 year experience after your diploma is in the same field related to your education, ie in computer support (IT). If yes, since you have experience related to your education, you will get points for education (6 points)and area of training(6 points) as well.
8 points for work experience over 5 years

4. 16 points

5. to prove your language proficiency and to claim points for the same, you must submit test results of approved language tests. for english IELTS and for french, DELF/DALF, TEF, TCF, TEFaQ, TCFQ. If you have none of these, then you will not get any points for langauge. If you have any, pls update with your results, so that we can help you in calculating points for this.

6. 1 point for highschool education of spouse. No points for language proficiency for spouse unless you submit results. points for french language proficiency are awarded for spouse. 3 points for spouse age below 35 years
total 8 points for 2 kids under age 12 years.

7. Add 1 points if you have sufficient funds to support family of 5 persons.

8. If you/your spouse have education done from quebec, worked or stayed at quebec anytime in life or have any family member residing in quebec, then you will get points for this.

So, total points with this details is 53 but since you have not given your info in a proper format, some of your points may be missed to add here, so give your details as per below:

Age :
Education : your highest education & done from which country
Area of Training :
Validated Employment Offer : if you have received any job offer from quebec employer
Work Experience : mention your work experience in last five years
Language Proficiency : result details of language tests as discussed above
Stay and Family in Quebec :
Spouse's Age:
Spouse's Highest Education:
Spouse's Work Experience :
Children :
Financial Self-Sufficiency :

Just to add.... this point calculation I did for you have taken more than a couple of minutes of my time my friend.... :)

hi knivesvente,
you must have declared details of your previous any application made for PR...

Based on false information, they can still reject your application at selection stage itself.

This is a big blunder done from your side.... nothing would have cause any harm if you had declared this info of previous application made for FSW PR.

now since, you have sent them the application and it is received by them, still you can update them about this info by sending an email mentioning your situation and the relevant details.

Also in this e-mail, ask for them if you can submit/send a corrected/updated format of Application for Selection Certificate.
If they agrees, you must send just this format which will then be attached with your original application package.

wish you good luck and Keep updating us about your application ...

Hello knivesvente,

I want to add one point here..

Don't give any incorrect information. Because, they have many agents by which they run background check throughout the world. Hence, please be double sure before giving any incorrect information. This things may not only cancel your application, but also give a bad stamp whenever you will go to apply any other immigration for other country that you were rejected for giving false info in case of other immigration process, if any question arises.
