Hi Future Quebec-ers,

i couldn't find so far any more specific information/answer regarding my issue. Maybe one of you guys know more, please ?!

I'm just about to book the IELTS Language Test. For the CSQ-Interview I didn't need one, (none was requested) and I've been accepted. I assume that my language proficiency (French) was good enough to get accepted ?! (i've been told by the Officer that my french was very good) Meaning, i don't need to do a French Test, otherwise i wouldn't have gotten accepted, right?

In the application form for QSW they ask for the IELTS English test. That's the one I need to do, right? Or do they want a french one, because I'm asking for the QSW ? Wouldn't make much sense, an IELTS for a QSW-Visa.

Because apparently they don't start processing until have those IELTS Result (s). Would an original letter from my employer be sufficient enough, stating my advanced language proficiency in english and french. ?!

if you already got CSQ and now going through federal process then there is no need to submit ielts or french test. All you need to submit PCC along with other documents and forms. Federal process will only check your PCC and medical result.

Ielts and french test are only required till CSQ process.

i have heard about a new change in the immigration process for Quebec Skilled Worker program, that the proof of language sufficient must be submitted at the very beginning with the application form
did anybody hear about this?? i am afraid because any change will destroy my hope

Indeed it will change but it will only come into effect from next year,intact as from next year the number of csq will reduce from 50000 to 40000,that mean 10k less.French will be mandatory coz the cultural minister of Quebec has mentioned that Qubec need to protect it's French ,so better to apply this year.All the best for the future,hope this info help.

i have read about in another website "local one" in a reply of a member there

well all i can say is that this news has not been officially released by Bureau d'immigration du Quebec till now. Without official announcement, You can take this as rumor.

( 4 PCC's in total). I've been in Canada now since last year, you think i should get a Canadian Police Clearance as well and send it straight with it, or should I wait until they ask for it?
So , i can send all the paperwork in about 4 weeks,... nice.

I sent my application on 24th-Sep-2011, but mistakenly I sent my wife's old passport details and photocopies with application.
This passport was having some black spot on the photo of my wife, so we requested for a new passport at that time.

But now, I attached the old passport copies instead of this new one and also i have mentioned the old passport details in application form too.

So, what can be solution for this?
1. can I tell them at later stage about this?
2. I think my courier of application will not have still delivered to BIQ HK. Should call back the parcel, update the forms and passport details and re-submit again?

3. any other option,
pls advice.

I check with courier company and they inform that my parcel is delivered on 27th sept at BIQ hk office.

So now what should I do?
Can I send another courier with updated forms and photocopies of my wife's passport?
Pls help.

Hi,

I have submitted my application on 26th September to Hong Kong office. Can someone tell me how long does it take to get CSQ. Now that there is a huge inflow of applications when can i expect a reply from them. I have shown Beginners level french as my French level proficiency so want to know whether my CSQ interview will be in French or English. And I want to know more about AOR, file number and other different stages that one application goes through.
