How long will it take to process my application? (Timelines)

This is probably the most frequently asked question, mostly because there is no real answer. Every visa office has a different time frame. If you fill out and supply all of the forms correctly, you may be processed at some visa offices in as little as a few months. If the background check is an issue, it can take as long as a few years.

Every missing document in your application will delay the processing by several weeks, sometimes months. Copies that are hard to read will cause even more delay. It is not unheard of the whole application being returned because one! question was not answered. There is no really simple answer to this question! It is a question of how you file and where you file.

It expired back in February 2014. The problem is, I don't trust Libanpost based on previous experiences... So most probably, and if sent by mail it won't reach its destination!!

Same here! CSQ expired in mid Feb 2014… Medicals submitted 5 sept. … Nth till now… even no changement of ecas, still app recvd!
when i sent an inquiry mail to Bucharest! they replied vaguely that the VO will request an extension without mentioning if i will receive a copy or not… till now, am waiting!

Hello Anthony,

Same for me, medicals done in August and until now my ecase is only received. Have you lived in many countries which requires security checks ?

my CSQ expired on October 26,2013. I emailed the embassy before its expiry and they requested an extension from MICC
the renewed copy was left on the doormat in Lebanon in mid February 2014...
Imagine how long it took 'em to deliver it even though i changed my mailing address to be in Canada just to simplify things.
Once I received the renewed CSQ in Ottawa(sent from Lebanon), I mailed the immigration copy to Bucharest and left my copy for landing purposes.
hope this can shed some light on how it is done

If you love Lebanon so much then why did you leave?

He's allowed to have his own opinion. He's not saying anything bad about other nationalities, he's talking about his own. I'm sure it's only to lighten the mood. I've lived my entire life in Canada and I was able to catch on to his sarcasm about how Lebanese people act. No one is saying they don't love their country, but unfortunately bad habits die hard and it's forcing people to leave it behind and immigrated to a country where humans are treated as humans.

Here's some advice: You need to lighten up and become more open minded or else you'll never integrated in the Canadian society and will always be an outcast.
