as we are all waiting , :)
what are your preparations for landing ? Do you plan to land , come back to your country , finish your business and then settle in Canada ?
Isn't a waste of time ?

I plan to go and not come back . Started to look for some job offers , still haven't figured where to settle.
What about you ?

my plan is to shut down whatever I have here and settle in Québec, most probably in Saint Laurent
I'll try to work in the same company but I doubt to find a vacancy there so my second plan is to get a phd degree

either way I'll not come back to Lebanon masada2et felil

Exactly, that's why I'm booking my ticket soon. All the prices before December 10 are affordable somehow but after this date it's way more expensive.
But I guess no one will ask about the ticket price once they get the ppr ;)

They send an offer not for you to sign, and they're willing to wait for your landing, it's not based on a single vacancy, but you need to give them a certain timeline.

any one knows anything about the banking sector there?

If you mean in Qatar yes, but if you mean Montreal sorry no idea,

for example do experience in lebanese banks in audit or credit take into consideration there? ?

I thought your question was about the services offered. But I believe it does...since most banks operate in the same way worldwide. I work with someone who was a branch manager in Africa and her experience was considered here.

As I heard that new applicants security check is done before medical, since they send new police certificates.
while for old applicants updated police certificates were required with medical. medical and security checks at same time.
but not sure :D

That's because almost 4 years has elapsed for old applicants, so they have to make sure in those 4 years that a crime wasn't committed.

Making us wait all these years is a crime by itself

True...but I don't think they care.
