so in case they finalize our files before the expiration of the csq then we can do the landing as long as the csq is valid, it doesn't matter if it expires after we land, right?
Mine expires by the end of October so I have no idea how things will be. I hope they finalize everything before it expires...
I'm going back to KSA by the end of next week and hopefully coming back for good before the year ends

It has been mentioned several times before in this thread. If your CSQ expires before your visa is issued, they will send you a new CSQ. That's how it was with me.

Your CSQ has to be valid at the time your visa is issued, but not necessarily at the time of landing. My visa was issued in January, my CSQ expired in April and I landed in July.

BTW guys, concerning the PR Card, it is taking longer than it used to, to be issued. I've been here for two months and I still haven't received mine. When I called them back in July, they said it is now taking 67 days to be issued.

Well if your situation is anything like my fiance's...it's just a matter of getting the background/security checks in...which I am sure will occur soon.

yes the officer during my interview he told me PR and SSN needs at least 3 months, he asked make international insurance cause it will take time.

Also passports taking around 5-6 years,,, they intentionally delay it.

Do we do another medical test before we get passport? ???
