Quebec applicants 2010(Damascus) waiting for medicals

I have asked my immigration lawyer, Background / Security checks are done before medicals.

May i ask you, how long after medicals for passport request ?

Any case on this forum ?

The MP's office informed me backgroun/security checks are done around the same time as the medical. So, my fiance's file is awaiting background information right now, eventhough he's already done his medical. So CIC doesn't always do things the same way.

i hope the security checks wont be delayed because of the situation now in Lebanon !

last year, I had many friends their medical expired and they were asked to take medical again.
now it became fast, yma and moon and randiski got their visa also it took long.

why are you in a hurry to be jobless

that was previous years
no idea but seems with 4-6 months

From what I understand, background checks include security checks. So things like, past employment, past travel, education etc are background checks and security checks are police certificates, military services. So how long it takes for them to finish the background and security checks will depends on the person's history.

i have send application for CSQ before 1 august 2013

didnt get any reference number or AOR ..

i have done Masters in computers so now my points in area of training increse from 6 to 12(please confirm if it increase or not)

so wht should i do now?

should i withdraw the previous file and send new one if yes then in what connection i wrote to them..coz i dnt have any file number till yet

please advice i m very worried

confusing, I believe cause Lebanese and middle east they are strict and its their right after they found some terrorists from our area. because you've seen that guy he got passport request just 9 days after medical ???

i did not recive not medical nor PPR yet ;D...i wish i will asap. I was visiting only ...and i miss every corner of it.
