btw, temporary workers are facing so much problems coming to Canada because of the strike in many offices, let's hope it won't affect us
 
Guys! A quest!

In the mail enclosing the requested documents for update, I didnt receive another email to redeclare concerning my military service period as all of you. what do u think!? m32oul ykoun because i was exempted min l service then the service was abolished by the goverment!?

Am really concerned about this!

When you apply for citizenship and pass the exam and become a citizen, you will no longer need to renew your pr card. You will get a citizenship card instead. You don't need to re-do a medical exam before receiving citizenship and it doesn't take long to apply and receive your passport, it would take the same amount of time as any other citizen applying or renewing their passport. The only difficulty I could see is getting a "guarantor" to sign your application form, which means you need to make friends who are willing to answer questions about you IF Passport Canada decides to call and make sure you are who you say you are.

As for the 10 years, that's not true. They recently changed the passport application process, where you can apply for a 10 year passport instead of renewing it every 5 years. So I think that's what your friend was trying to tell you.

I am confused about citizenship and PR CARD, when do we get citizenship

About 10 years, he told me that they are thinking that new immigrants should spend 10 years to get passport, like in spain and many other places

I changed the designation about the immigration plan to Quebec, I will call it retirement in Quebec, Hehehehehehehe

Does any 2011 applicant been called for interview? If yes please share the dates of:

1- Sending application
2- Calling for interview
3- Applying from which country

as csq applicant you make only the interview for the csq not in the federal part
the federal pat is designed only for medical and security
