That's weird, they asked you for an update without sending the medical? Usually they asked for updated docs with medical and landing fees

i sent the fee and the requested docs but nothing concerning the meds although they mentioned it in the email, is there a due date for the meds to be completed ?

Mchelsea

Yes. Usually they give 60 days for the applicant to provide them with the updated docs and medical... After this period, the wait is 10-12 weeks for the ppr

We've seen some cases on the forum that received the medical request along with the updated documents. I guess in your case it's kind of different unless there's a certain misunderstanding. Logically, The deadline for the medical is the same... You can share their email with us on the forum without mentioning personal details...

could anyone who got the meds recently share the content of the email , (just for the sake of enlightenment nothing more) , ? thank you

They sent two e-mails, the first is an e-mail stating the file was transfered to Bucharest and that they changed the file number from the B number to a reference number. It also listed all the documents they needed updated, the 490$ in landing fees and that there is a 60 day period. The second e-mail was for the medical, so form 1017. Did you check your junk email? I would contact them to see why you didn't receive it. Maybe they forgot to generate it. So it's better to ask in case they are waiting for your medical.

But I think he found out through caips and not through an e-mail from Bucharest.

I just re-opened the caips notes and found someting interesting. It says on Sept. 19, 2011 the file was transfered electronically from Damascus due to regional reconfiguration and the relocation of the regional program centre. It doesn't say to where the file was transfered though...I am assuming Beirut.

Thats right i knew from CAIPS, the oemail i received was the AOR from CIC and they were like my file would be sent to a visa office without telling what one..

I dont know why my consultant is that pessimist, he thinks on 03-feb-14 (as per CAIPS) my medical status will be only revised and not necessary requested by then..
