It's an online service where you can check your appliation status. Once your application is received by the federal they will e-mail a file number. Here is the link. But aswe mentioned, it's not updated regularly. Our e-case showed "in process" for 3 years!

im in abu dhabi visa office. different time line than beirut.but wait for aor might be ur file to romania then ull b luky

yea true, seems like my file was directly sent to bucharest and didnt pass through beirut office, otherwise it would stack there for a few years before getting into process..

you will hopefully receive your federal AOR within 1-2 months after your application is sent as it was the case for my sent file on 18 dec 2012 (1.5month)

i have one question : are they supposed to send the medicals by mail or email ? cuz its nearly 2 weeks since they sent me the email concerning the transfer of the file to Bucharest, and they said that the meds are sent in a separate letter , so is it email or mail ? im confused and still waiting for the meds , all replies are welcomed and thank you .

Update requested in may 2013

That's weird, they asked you for an update without sending the medical? Usually they asked for updated docs with medical and landing fees
