Dignity, #5 is my own speculation and has to to with the Federal, how much influence Quebec got? I have no idea
Jet, if you can get solid news with the what, when and how I will thank you and I will fire that lawyer.

Dear Lmastory

it's good to share information and we really appreciate that..

I have heard that Beirut Embassy will not start processing the applications until June meanwhile all the rest offices have started processing the applications and even have requested passport submission...

so in the regards of the #5, it might be applicable with Beirut for now but for sure not for Amman and Ankara offices, so I reckon that the #5 is not applicable for our region and all this dryness is because Beirut is a small office , not enough staff to process all the application and maybe because of laziness ..

all what I want to say is that it's our bad luck for our application to be transferred to Lebanon, and we should take into consideration that since SEPT 2011 , Damascus gave the priority to Family application for citizen in Syria. and because of transferring we have 9 months delay since Sept 2011.

wish we will hear some good news soon ..

as far as my lawyer assures me, anyone has a CSQ on hand is not concerned

Dear Jet

thanks a lot for your reply, I really appreciate that ...

I totally agree with your lawyer
but what I am concerned about is that I received 2 replies from 2 different lawyers in Canada telling me that my application is rejected and I should reapply again...

Dear *****,

I should mention that my law firm would be unable to assist you with or comment on your application in progress.

Unfortunately, if you still wish to obtain Canadian Permanent Residence, you will have to reapply and recommence the process all over again, essentially starting at the beginning.

I hope you will still have a strong interest in making a new future here in Canada.
