they won't reply, we will just get a stupid answer, but i really started sweating after this news. and i linked it to the fact that yma got his meds and we didn't get anything, first we thought that maybe it is a confusion, but after all those bads news i am really afraid that they might be cooking something bad concerning our applications and they will announce it soon.. i deeply hope that i am wrong but this is the only logical explanation and we must concider the option and the bitter fact and that to start preparing ourselves for the worst... The panic button has been pressed

I agree with you Jet .. hope for the best and prepare for the worst .
But let's look to other side:
our e-case has been changed and revised , I have one of my friend FSW before Feb 2008 nothing has changed to his E-case, they just disregard him .
yma applied on march 2010 (before April 2010) and only difference between us is couple of months,
I think (I am not sure) that CSQ of YMA is going to be expire soon and before us that why they send him the med before us.
But I'm still worry why they don't reply to our letters and Emails.

Well after all these bad news starting Quebec and now the FSW, even i expect the worst, nothing is official concerning me, no1 really knows what will happen, the acceptance after the medicals isn't sure. Maybe they will issue a new law or something similar to those two that will maybe restrict us from having the PR, I am set to expect anything now.

In addition, no news is a good news, if nothing is mentioned concerning us the after Feb 2008 Applicants -> it should mean it is still under processing.

It is still under 1 month since my meds, it naturally takes around two months to contact u after the meds, lets wait and see.

But look at the bright side of it, if 300,000 Applications has been slashed (unfortunately for them) -> it means less competition in the Job market.

Hope you will all hear a good news about your Application very soon.

Just want to make myself clear, I am really annoyed from what happened, it is harsh, i am not with this action of slashing 300,000 Applications, it is unfair they waited for yearS, they were expecting and without any prior notice BOOM, they were cancelled.

Why me b4 you?? Well I really am wondering like you guys, nothing can be known from the CA Embassy, but trust me i am really wishing you what i wish for myself.

But if you think of it, they are restricting Applicants because of economic reasons, others post are mentioning 500 to 1000 Applicants for 1 vacancy. I feel there is something fishy here, they are talking about economic growth and the role of immigrants in building Canada's Economy but as i hear, it is becoming very hard to find a job. So isn't it a contradiction? Users in this forum who already landed are mentioning that it is immigrants money rip off. In addition now i am expecting something to be done about the Citizenship, maybe making the time to be 5 years instead of 3 or re-issuing PR over and over with no ability to have a passport, well i can't stop thinking they r going to start hardening their immigration and citizenship laws following other countries.

In the end, it is just speculations, lets hope nothing will be changed....

in the regard of the government announcement about returning the application before Feb 2008, I think it will not affect us ,,,, as all applications which has been selected by the officer at the embassy, there wouldn't be any change and the officer will continue processing the applications .. it means those who got QSC and file number , that announcement will not affect them ....


I have a question ... my medical has expired on March, 2012 ... should I wait them to request a new medical exam or can I do it without a request from them ...

there is no need to be pinched and definitely you are not dreaming .it might be weird but that's the reality .. yes, I am Quebec skilled worker applicant and I undergone the medical on March 2011,,, and my QSW has expired on September 2011 (3 years) and they might renewed it for another year which in turn would be expired after 5 month....
So I lodged my application in 2006 ,, I got the QSW IN 2008 AND THE FILE NUMBER AS WELL in 2008... and still, my medical expired without finalizing my application ....
