they started asking for some documents, some applicants especially who applied as family sponsor CATEGORY has received a request about their applications and I think that in June they would start issuing visas at Beirut vo.

then the info i heard is true, on hold till June/July

They just advise : please send an Email, please send an Email .
I sent them emails, but no reply ..
I don't know what is our situation.
No one can expect or figure out what's going on.
But actually something is wrong with our files.

how they dont work and i have from week an update on my E-cas Status, they change my address!! it's mean they are working on the applications but no one can define a timeline for the process because of transferring of applications to Beirut Visa Office!

dear Moon,
throughout the last 4 years i had my E-cas updated 3 times, the embassy does not change the e-cas as an application on the web, e-cas is moderated and maintained by personnel in CIC canada, e-cas requests are sent at a certain timeframe from embassies to the CIC in canada and is not affected by any changes or decisions or current situation at the embassy. the time it takes between embassy request and e-cas update is not relevant to the actual current situation inside the embassy.

Dignity, thanks for the update, mind if I request a confirmation? do you know those ppl in person?

I can confirm that Beirut has started processing the applications and some applicants of the family category at Beirut office in Lebanon have received documents request , you can see some of their posts at the group "Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009" ..
I heard that in June they gonna start issuing visas ...
it is just a black Cloud of rain and it will pass, we just need patience and stick to my saying "by ignoring and forget, what you want you gonna get". lol ;D :-*

hell i can wait till june, it is only next month, i have been waiting for 28 months now and this is only for the federal part, but the important thing is to get it ba2a because we are all tired of waiting.

I know what do you feel, things are getting harder, in a normal situation you should get your medical very soon and then your ppr as well,,, but it is better for us to live our life normally, do not waste any opportunity, plan for your life by trying to forget and ignore "Canada".

life goes on, I know it is better for us to be in Canada, but that's god's will to have suffering of waiting. what could we do more than waiting, ignore and forget... it is better for us to leave it as it is and live our life normally and let everything as god's will.
I know it is weird, it is not the way it supposed to be, but you should know that our bad luck is what happened in Syria and the worst is transferring application to Lebanon not to Ankara or Amman who are very active..

if the process took more than the usual time, and you had a long delay regarding your application ,,, there are something called " writ a mandamus" .. a claim against the vo.. if things go well , the federal court obliged the vo to finish your application within 6 months ,,, I might be interested in that. I will see how things go and what i should do next.

you have 28 months? your QSC might be expired before issuing your visa, have you asked what they would do? I think they gonna renew it for a one year but I ordered my caips notes , my CSQ is expired and it is not renewed. so, I do not know if it is a problem?

Dear Guys

I think the situation will be changed from now on, they are working on our files but silently at Beirut VO, someone has got his ppr yesterday on the phone.
but we should take into consideration that the family class has the priority, and I think more visas will be issued soon in a very accelerated way. I feel different right now. I believe that things will go fine and we will not wait for a long time.
