I think guys, and this is what i heard, if you are a very hard worker, they value this a lot, not like in Lebanon. Canada has a culture where if you work hard, you can advance and grow.

when opening a new business any place in the world the owner keeps high risk that this business might not get income as expected for certain period of time but later if we managed it will. this is what will happen worst case scenario in Quebec when finding a job then becomes career.
i never heard of anyone who went to quebec and years later stayed in same position but what makes it beautiful more is the quality of life. imagine your self in mount royal park sitting man in front of lake peope calm happy relax or do biking plan or can you imagine that there are cinemas with tickets that cost only 1$! cant wait i swear.. its a dream

you can only consider Canada as safe place peace now war. nothing more

it is normal that most immigrants are jobless, but you need to consider how long they have been there , and how hard they trying to get job , and after all you need to evaluate their level of diploma and language , unemployment can be because the low level of the applicant not because no job offers..

we are going as PR and not as work visa, so we all gonna be jobless which is normal , but the challenge start when you stand up and decide to find your job at the right time , after you have enough community experience in quebec, and when you have done all required bridging and courses, and maintained high level of French or english language then we can blame Canada or quebec for no available jobs.

So Never plan to ship furniture.

Air ticket untill now lufthansa is the best price arround 800 usd for one way ticket less time but 23kg and 80 euro for extra bag. Qatar airways is 56kg but 13 to 14 hours traveling from qatar to montreal.
Prepared birth certificate and transcripts.

What Lemans is pointing out is correct, Quebec have high unemployment rate,but that does not mean you will not land the right job for you, after all selected immigrants are all well educated. Getting a job will be like any other country it requires patience and a clear plotted plan.

Good luck to all.

Guys let us be realistic, check all statistics and sites. The maximum unemployment rate for immigrants is 20% no matter where you look. It is not 70% as you claim... It never is, otherwise not a single Canadian will agree to accept any immigrant into the country.

I am not saying that 20% is little but let us be realistic and talk with facts for the benefit of everybody.

When there is a will, there is definitely a way...

regarding flights , there is much better offers, MEA airline 13-14 hours total trip time, for around 680$, hand luggage allowed plus registered luggage of 20kgs , to add up kgs you need to pay extra fees..
