This is really starting to worry me. And you and I both applied from Montreal...

Still nothing on our end after AOR on March 3rd... I really wonder what makes our case this much slower!

Don't lose hope, apparently they're starting to move again. If all was right, you'll get your email soon.

I don't see what could be wrong. US applicant, lived in Canada since the age of 17 so didn't send any police certificate (we do have the FBI PC in case CIC asks for it later anyway, but she wasn't 18 when she moved to Canada so we should be ok). I don't know what's taking so long... the original application was sent back to us due to missing signature on intent to reside in Quebec but we sent it back and got AOR on March 3rd.... I really can't think of anything that could be going wrong :/ Hopefully it comes this week...

Do you know which Visa Office has your file? For us we never got any news beyond the fact that it was sent to Sydney.

Same. Sent to Sydney, don't know where it is.
But about the delay, can it be because we've received that many refugees a few months back? That's probably a lot of work to top up the regular amount of requests.

Yeah that could be it, I'm just concerned that there's something wrong with our application specifically since people who received AOR after us got MR already :(

My guess is as good as yours, but I had the same concerns till last week. I gave up looking for a reason, checking my mailbox and spam box and the CIC page a few weeks ago. I've called CIC a few months ago and the formal process processing time for us (QSW, etc, etc) is 14 months. Anything before that is especulation and you can't even complain.

Hope you hear back from them at the earliest.

hi guys! with regards to filling up my federal application also under QSW. in the Generic application form, they do not ask for the middle name. i would like to ask if there is / or there are portions that middle name is asked? i am confuse if i will be putting my middle name beside my given name. thanks for the reply.

Hi guys,

I was wondering did any inland applicants(meaning the VO is in Ottawa) receive MER lately if you received your FN in 2016?

I myself received FN in March 2016, still haven't received MER yet.

Same situation here, AOR in early march and no Medical request yet. Let's keep each other updated!

it's weird, some of my friends applying within Montreal only waited one month to get their MERs...

probably gonna have to wait another two months...

Applied from Montreal ourselves here- still nothing :/ But other people already received it. Are you from around March 3rd (AOR) as well?

Got Medical Request yesterday... and RPRF even though it's already been paid via case specific enquiry due to the reminder email a few weeks back. We just sent the same receipt again to the email they provided. Did this happen to anyone else?

Congrats! I also did my medicals last week :)
I've not been asked yet to pay for rprf...

Congrats to you too! :D

Does anyone know if the 30-days limit is for them to RECEIVE the medicals or if it just needs to be done at the doc's office within that timeframe? Let's say the limit is on August 10 and the exam is on the 9th, is that ok or should it include the amount of time it'll take for the doctor to send the results?

Also, does anyone have any good recommendations for an e-medical enabled panel physician in Montreal and any tips?
