Hi All,

Update after 3 Months:
laboratory diagnosis for sputum: NEGATIVE
Sputum culture result: positive for Mycrobacterium other than tuberculosis

We had our repeat xray today: Chest PA and apicolordotic views: compared with the study of June 1 2015, there is minimal clearing of the left upper lobe cavity poorly-defined nodules. The rest of the lungs remain clear. Heart is not enlarged. The rest of the chest structures are unremarkable.

Nationwide Davao referred us to their Pulmonologist however we decided to wait for the feedback first from Manila Embassy before going to the Pulmonologist since in the first place we did not received any medical furtherance email from Manila Embassy.

Has anyone had an experience of having the same XRAY result?

I also undergone medical furtherance test (repeat xray) not required initially by IOM. I also didn't received any medical furtherance e-mail from the embassy. But I did it anyway, just to complete my medical. I think you just have to follow what they ask you to do. Usually after repeat xray and the result is stable, medical results are immediately submitted to embassy. However, if there are changes, usually they really require consultation to their pulmonologist... And with that, if you'll not follow them, then they will not finalize your medical result too.

HELLO EVERYONE.! i would like to ask if u happen to have any information/idea regarding cases with POSITIVE FOR MYCOBACTERIA OTHER THAN TUBERCULOSIS (MOTT) as a result
Of the sputum culture.. Thanks. Xrays showed no significant changes from previous. Sputum smear 3x-
Negative. Thanks. No other clinical signs and symptoms of being sick. Thank u so much. There is not much thread about MOTT here, i would appreciate it if we can start if u know a thing about it and maybe what canada's take when it comes to MOTT. Godbless us all!

Akkinikka what's your update so far? Did you go for further treatment after your MOTT result? Your response will be appreciated.

hello! Fortunately i was not given instructions to go on refurtherance tests and treatment. I receive a PPR on august 17,2015, my xrays wer stable and nos ignificant changes noted i guess that played the biggest factor (xrays), because it may or may not suggest an active and progressing lung infection. mott was a very rare case no thread in this forum about mott before and now it has become a trend result in sputum cultures.. Hope all mott positive has a stable xrays and will eventually pass the medical exams and receive their PPRs... God bles all.

Hi Everyone,

My timeline is below:

Category: FSW 2014 | Visa Office: NDVO (Changed to WVO) | NOC Code: 2172

Initial App Filed : 29-May-2014 | Rejected/Returned: 15-Oct-2014 | Reapplied: 05-Nov-2014

CC Charged: 08-Jan-2015 | PER: 30-Jan-2015 | AOR: 24-Feb-2015 | SLU: 17-Apr-2015

Med Req: 06-May-2015 | Med Done: 11-May-2015 | Furtherance Request: 29-May-2015 | Re-Med Completed: 13-Aug-2015

"Medicals have been received" has not been updated yet even though I have successfully completed re-medicals on 13-Aug and hospital has updated the same on 17-Aug. Further all sputum culture were Negative and we had also consulted the pulmonologist, all our reports are fine and no active signs of TB found.

My question is: Approx how long will it take for acceptance of medical results and when can I expect passport request? Any insights are welcome!

Cheers,
LazyBoy

I've already completed my furtherance test (repeat xray which turned out to be stable) last Aug. 4, 2015 and as per IOM it was already submitted/uploaded for embassy reference last Aug. 8, 2015. Until now, no update on my E-Cas regarding the receipt of my medical results.

Lazyboy and mommybear. Don't worry. Once your medical furtherance have been uploaded to the embassy. Just expect your PPR anytime soon. They may not indicate "Medicals received".

My passport is already at embassy since June 1, 2015. But my e-cas only turned to In Process after the date of upload... Maybe Medical Result Received would show together with Decision Made status based on CIC outland application table. They already got my passport prior the completion of my medical tests. Family sponsorship is our application by the way.

Hi ,

Culture results negative, xray showed differences reffered to CT scan and some other tests all negative again but CT scan showed sign of previous diseases like TB in the past which was cured and the case is forwarded to embassy hoping for the best.

It is well all the same. Your passport will return to you with your visa. Just pray for speed and ease of passage. Thank God your passport has been with them.

Hi DeeBruv,

Thanks for the encouragement!

My medicals furtherance have been uploaded on eMedical file on 17-Aug-2015 (as confirmed by the hospital) So now am waiting for PPR or "medicals have been received" but this wait is killing :) Although I know there's nothing I can do except wait and pray for a positive decision.

me too. Got PPR august 17,2015 and DM september 5,2015. But still no update saltatement "medcal results have been received". Just praying its just some update issue or that they just forgot abot it or maybe its their new format to not include medicals have been received because ive seen so many posts regarding medical results have been received not in their ecas update. We just have to pray and have faith in God that we gothrough the process very smoothly and that we graduate soon...
