Thats a good news winni. Im not sure if theres anyone in this forum who experienced this. When you say digital copy of am xray how does it look like? Is it the one in cd? Are you from the philippines? I had my medical at st lukes taguig but my sputum exam at ermita. Where will i submit the xrays?

If u submit ur six or nine or more month old chest x ray and there is no change than u will not neet to go for sputum test but if u have already done that then cic will not wait for the result and consider ur old chest x ray to campare with ur latest chest x ray which was took during medical examination. It will save total ur 3 months time like sputum culture results and repeat chest x ray. Better u must submit ur digital old chest x ray right now and if doctor is not ready to submit or to upload to ur eMedical file than u must force them to do so it will save ur total 3 months time and u will see medical results have been received line updated to ecas in one week from the date u submit ur old chest x ray to hospital

That didnt happen to me. I gave the doctor 4 old. Xrays which are very old 2008 up to my latest 2015 but they still required me the sputum test (smear and culture) which turned out to be negative and repeat xray after 3 months that says stable. Now Im waiting for medical received in my ecas but eventhough I submitted those previous xrays, pulmo clearance certificate and history of treatment, still I went through those things.

Thats what im also thinking mommybear because i tried to ask the nurse and she told me that even if i submit old xrays i still need to wait for 3 months thats why im asking whats the best thing to do to skip this 3 month waiting period.

Actually yan rin naisip ko dati pero no chance e. Depressing talaga. Kala ko sputum lang require un lang nung una pero ngfurtherance pa daw ung embassy. Mahirap rin talaga mapapayag ung panel physician. Mahigpit tlga. No choice sis but to follow and wait.

You need to provide them digital copies - which they need to upload as part of your medical file.
Ofcourse, they may refuse to do so, and there is nothing we can do if they refuse to accept your old digital copies.

If u provide 6-9 month old x ray than they will not ask for sputum test as well subject to no changes in current and old chest x ray. They will confirm the stabilities from old and current chest x ray

I got a furtherance request despite me having the image of my old X-Ray ad CT Scan movie format file. The X-Ray image and CT files were not taken by the panel physician and instead she scanned the paper reports only. So if the medical doctors in the embassy do not see our old X-Ray film, obviously they would ask for furtherance.
While the facility to submit the old digital X-Rays is available, the panel physician may choose NOT to upload the old digital copies.
So it is a matter of requesting & begging them to upload our old digital files + go through the additional tests as their interest is also served. Very expensive and time consuming as well as the medical center is 20 KMs from where I live - but there is no other go :-(

I had same problem I had old chest x ray but doctor refuse to upload since it was not in digital format however I found one friend did his medical from MAX and she hold x ray film only whicb doctor uploaded successfully to his eMedical file and he didn't ask for sputum test and repeat chest x ray. Even u was updated with Medical has been received status in just six days from the date he submited his old chest x ray which is really money and time saving process however he is lucky man who got the best panel physician however most of the time doctor suggest to go for sputum and repeat chest x ray because they have no time so they don't personally take any interest otherwise it is possible to upload x ray film also by way of x ray or ct scan technician help into this.

I have repeat chest x ray on August 29 and result of my sputulam culture will come by august 17 so waiting for the same now

Is there any senior or experience people whi can help me that how long for Passport request after completed medical furtherance process. I will done with it on August 29 so when should I expect PPR after than. How long it will take if anyone has any timeline from perious friends or family members file experience than please do share with me I am looking to fly by November 02, 2015 and need to book ticket now as well but bit worried whether i will get visa before this or it will take time though need ur guys help into this

all the best to you. once the medical clearance is done WP takes 2 weeks and PPR takes upto 2 months.
As part of my furtherance, I met the panel physician who saw my old reports a few days when I went for my medical test
And the first question she asked was..Why did you not declare your old TB at that time
I was shocked..as I showed all my old reports and they even scanned them!!!
So those in Bangalore....it is best to avoid Elbit as they do not upload the old reports at all.

And for those who has kids say doesn't have the complete vaccines, do they give the vaccines during medical?

Sa mga nagsputum and nagrepeat xray sa iom or st. Lukes, ganu ktagal bago lumabas sa ecas na medical results received after mcomplete ang tests?

Please help, I need your insights... for those with history of TB, do you declared it during physical exam or wait for the result of xray?

If they found out something in your xray, will they advise you to go back to the doctor who did your physical exam?

We will be having our medical soon and your advise will be of great help.

hi everyone. hope you will help me with my concern..again

according to medical furtherance letter, you have 90 days to comply. i will be having my sputum next week which will take 2-3 months for the result to come out, plus the repeat chest xray. Should i accomplish all of these within 90 days? i mean, sputum exam requires more than 2 mos, then repeat xray. it will not be possible to complete all these within 90 days, unless the hosp will be fast, but i doubt it.
