I dont mind to share my main reason, I think is your reason also, My HUSBAND , that is my most important reason to return to Canada, I explain them how is our love story, I wrote the letter with my heart , belive me , you have to think how you want your future and what you can offer to canadian society, give proofs about your refugee case that you cooperate with CBSA it not necesary lie only the truth is allow you to return to Canada. Send all the documents , everything what you have with you is gonna help you.

Hi guys, I;ve been reading all the post in this group and we all definitely are on the same boat, however my case is a little bit different. I had to take the PRRA invitation after the refugee was denied, fortunately we sent our application on january 2011 way before even the refugee was denied. Apparently the sponsorship process has been going perfectly and all on time, and today VO has required a Confirmation of Departure, which I believe is de Certificate of Departure that you get when you have been asked to leave Canada, which I dont have because Im still in Canada waiting for the decision of PRRA.
What should I do???????? They mention that this Confirmation of Departure will determine wether I need the AOR or nor, although we all know after an order of departure you always need de AOR. My biggest concern is having to withdraw PRRA after 8 months, I believe that would look inconsistent to the officer that approve AOR. Anyways, I dont even know if PRRA can be withdraw or how long it would take since VO as required the Confirmation of Departure within 30 days. I guess I may have to explain VO one more time what is going on with my situation and see what they think, although last time they requested information I explained everything clearly.
I hope anybody knows something about withdrawing PRRA and Confirmation of Departures, thanks guys!

We just had our prra interview today. We were informed even though our app was sent in 10 months ago, long before the prra app was issued, that CBSA Does not wait for an answer. They were very clear that nothing except Dm would help despite what everyone has been telling us on these forums. ( and even the CBSA officer we’ve been dealing with in our home city who said they probably would wait) just my experience.
I know this post is old. But just sharing for anyone else in the situation who comes across it like I did.
So what's going to happen now, I am in a similar situation as yours, only with me we had not started the process the application. Hubby has to leave and am devastated. I hope something turns around for you

Awww omg im so sorry. Im preparing for that myself and don't know how im gonna manage if it happens. Good thing is we can always apply outland? Just sucks cuz we already spent so much money on inland. Officer said even if he gets sent home the app will still process and he can come back if approved after satisfying the exclusion order. Which to me makes no sense at all. How can the inland app still be good and process if hes home ? He wont be able to come back for landing interview on time? I dont get it. And ive always read that if u leave or get sent home it cancels inland app. Ughh. So confused. Our only hope now is to apply for the prra and hope our sponsorship app gets approved before the prra decision is made. If not, we ask for a deferal of removal to wait on decision or get his affairs in order before he leaves. If that doesnt work, its home he goes i guess.
Aww man, it's so hard. They make things so difficult I tell you. I am praying things work out for you and the sponsership gets approved. I am having faith you will get it and he won't have to go home. My hubby will be leaving we will be applying outland. Sucks we have to be away from each other now. Just praying we get approved and he gets to come back one day.else bye bye Canada for me

Oh no. Sorry i forgot u had mentioned he is leaving. Keep the faith it will all work out in the end. Ive even told hubby he should just leave voluntarily and we can reapply but hes not having it lol.
I just called IRRC and they said our app was transfered to BC office for work sharing but so far everything looks normal. Still havent started eligibility but she said they are only working on Jan apps which makes no sense to me cuz i see April people getting AIP and SA. I told her this and she came back at me with maybe they are out of Canada applicants...ummm...no lol but i just left it at that and didnt go any further. As long as app is ok now and no bad notes as yet, im ok. Just wish i could find info on if being in bc now we can expect a longer wait. Ughhh. So many questions lol
I really hope everything turns around for u. This whole process is so unfair and frustrating.
Where is hubby from ? Sorry if u already mentioned it. Im on my cell and its hard to really navigate smoothly lol
He is from jamaica, it is really frustrating. But am keeping the faith. He is trying to look at the bright side. But am hurt going through this.

Thats where my hubby is from 2. Im so sorry ur going through this. U gotta stay strong and focused. Its not over yet. Its gonna suck being apart, thats for sure but u still have a chance. In the meantime, get in some nice vacation time in JA. So did he already do prra? Did u not get application for sponsorship at all during the process?
Whatever happens u just hold faith that it will work out in the end. Feel feel to message me anytime if u need a friend or just someone to vent to. It really sucks that u have to go through so much to he with someone u love.
Thank you, it's nice having people in similar situations that I can vent to, no he didnt get to do anything like that, we just got married and was in the process of starting the application while gathering the paper work someone told him to get his police record and it was downhill from there. But am just holding faith thinking this is Gods will. He is on an exclusion order for 1 year, but I am still doing to send his application in. I love my hubby but if he cant be here in the end neither can I, its ruff really ruff.

Omg thats exactly what happened to us. Get that app in asap. We didnt have in either. Put it in after exclusion order and we r still ok so far.

Yes you may be able t to apply although you may want to apply Outland if there is a risk that you may be removed before the application is processed. Why were you ineligible to apply for asylum? That will have a big impact on whether you qualify? How long ago did you start dating? How long between dating and getting married? Were you found ineligible before you started dating? There will be increased scrutiny on your application.
