Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Hi Rathika, They called my husband once to ask why we didnt do a cultural wedding... so does that means that my file was already screened? and now it is on waiting list to be viewed by an officer?

When did they call to ask? Recently? I would assume that it is being reviewed by the officer because they would be looking at the file then. What did he tell them and Did they say anything else to him?

I was about 5 months ago. they just ask this...

ya but they asked us it right whent he file wnt to visa office. and when husband asked if its in process they said no -_-

ok yea if they called u regarding this case then for sure its already been screened ..just in the queue for the officer to view it..gd luck

oh and, radhika it is after that that they request documents... proofs of communications... that we sent in december....After that no contact at all!!!

as to my knowledge u have applied almost 9 months rite? so if that the case you will hear something very soon from them always check ur e-mails and keep ur phone on...cross my fingers 4 u ...gd luck

does it mean they didn't even touch my file ?

that means that ur application is waiting to be screened in to their system..after this process they will put ur file in the queue for the officer to review it ...gd luck hope it helps
