Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

guys!!
what's happening to our applications? it's the end of August and no updates for any of us here all my friends and relatives keep asking me why I still didn't get my visa, whenever they see me! now it has become a big pain answering them! feeling mentally down!
did any of you see any improvements in your GCMS notes atleast? keep me in your prayers!

I never requested for gcms notes I am going to see mp this week so hopefully I hear something good or else goin to go crazy!!

Hi rainbow! So it's the 10th month going on for you? I don't know what's happening for our applications are you sure you can make a mp inquiry before completing 14 months? Anyways I wish you all the best with the mp inquiry dear! Keep us updated! God bless!!

All they telling me is to wait another 2 months. But i argued with him that when i applied (2015 August) it was 9 moths processing time and that should be the processing time for my application....... even though he said just wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been ONE YEAR for me and i have contacted local MP multiple time and nothing happened
All they telling me is to wait another 2 months. But i argued with him that when i applied (2015 August) it was 9 moths processing time and that should be the processing time for my application....... even though he said just wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So sad to hear sutha! Only thing we can do is pray, pray and pray for all of us! i think only the Colombo VO is like this, other VOs May be slow, but are moving somehow.. Colombo VO seems like no movement forever :'(

Worried about you darling, cz if August passes they'll ask you for re-medical cz your medical expires next month right? Try to meet your mp and get it done somehow before medical expires!

Heyy yes his medical expires on sept 9.. the whole process is 9 months but will be 10 months starting sept. I called mp office they took my info and told me someone will call regarding the appointment so hopefully by this week I can go see mp

Well for me, 14 months have already passed and nothing happened still waiting... Also, I came to the conclusion that getting a Canadian visa has nothing to do with your education, criminality,etc...everything have to do with your LUCK. There are people who get married 2nd time without even getting divorce from their first partner and still able to bring their 2nd partner to Canada sooooo easily when bigamy is not even allowed in Canada. I guess when you try to go through the proper channel you will be screwed no matter what!!!

Yes, people who mess with the government get the visa for their spouses within 4-6 months but when you work for years and pay tax on time you get kicked to the curb.

Everything is soo messed up with this government and their process.. Like as you guys said ppl who r so fair and get visa and ppl who fakes it gets their way.. I am so fed up and have a feeling that something will go wrong with our process and they will drag it forever I am not confident at all :'(

is it the IMM 5475 form? should I attach any other documents?

It is IMM5744E and don't forget to pay $5......just google it......follow the steps and it will take u to the method of payments at last . if you need more help pls email me.

hi shan4dev, same with us, we attached those docs too with the application, but they requested it again.. they requested me in july and I submitted them within a week, and since then we didn't hear anything from the VO.. so, that may be normal, requesting for already submitted docs..
