Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Hus help me,how did u submit?at what time how s the procedure to submit additional documents

Hi Saina,
When we were requested to submit additional documents we submitted via case specific inquiry(as soon as we received the documents) as well as we sent original documents via registered mail to the Colombo Visa Office. This way we know for sure they can't reject us for failure to submit required documents .

wrote cover letter with name uci and application number on top .and mentioned all attached documents name list .and sign it
put all documents with cover letter on A4 size envelop and handed over to security officers . they took it and stick a tape on letter opening position ask us to sign on the tape and a record book .thats all

on the envelope write NAME uci and application number.we submit in the friday morning

I answered to similar question a while ago. Not sure if you were the one who asked. Total processing time for Sri Lanka is 13 months so from the date you filed your application expect to get the visa within 13 months. This is of course true if there is no complication with your case. If there is any red flag or interview required, expect it to take more than 13 months. We filed ours 13 months ago and still waiting to hear from them.

got the re-medical request same day afternoon , submitted T4 And Shedule A in the morning .

if next one is PPR its a great relief ....

We were also requested for some additional docs, and submitted it a week before, but no any response till now!

i hope it for gud and i am not sure about how long it will take because we all know the SL visa office is damn slow...but dont worry u will get it soon.did u order any notes recently?

Yesterday i received my notes and below is the last update on my application which my wife did an mp query.

Date 07/06/16

Received a request for case specfic via MP line. Spoke to vince the office of niki.ashoton. Informed on file status, Criminatliy and security in started.

Any idea about the above notes guys?

For me they asked same thing faa hope we all get our visa by this September
