dont scared to order your caips notes Sweet. it wont harm to anybody who order them. its legal & we have right to see our caips notes & position of our application. many of people have ordered them sometimes for 2-3 times for now. it takes almost 1 month to get it done. so, if you order now you'll get it in the next month. then you'll know what is your position of your application now.
good luck to everybody......

Tx Gango girl.

I got a mail from VO-Colombo. ;D They asked me to send the following documents.

*Please provide a copy of your National Identity Card.

*Please provide the English translation of the marriage certificate.

I already attached these two documents with my application . Anyway, thats not a pbm to send it again .. But my questions are; do i need to certify my NID copy? where do i need too send ?and Is it a good sign for me ? ::)

but dear please send anything by the registered post mail. i have the experience of it. & also if you send copies of any you should certify them by a officer of the justice of court/ a judge. it is mentioned in the application guide.
see I copied these from the application guide

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:
the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and

Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a
commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living,
that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the
contents of the original document. Translators who are certified members in good standing of
one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do
not need to supply an affidavit.

Certified true copies
To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must compare the original
document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:
“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,
the name of the original document,
the date of the certification,
his or her name,
his or her official position or title, and
his or her signature.
Who can certify copies?
Persons authorized to certify copies include the following:
In Canada:
a commissioner of oaths
a notary public
a justice of the peace

Outside Canada:

That's great news! How did they contact your husband (email, phone call, mail) to tell him about the interview and when was he contacted?

I would suggest that you prepare for the interview by going over all the forms to make sure he answers with the same information on there. Make sure he knows everything about you.

Check this out:

Have you checked your Ecas? Any changes?

you are welcome dear. do what you should do & dont go for the things asap if somebody says. bcoz you have time. if you panic you cant do anything properly. send them through the registered post mail. bcoz there are some people who were refused as failed to send the requested documents. but certainly they have sent the documents but CIC have not received the package. so, if they say that you were failed to send the documents, you should have the proof with you. after if you refused, cant blame on anybody. its better to send them via registered post mail & keep the receipt with you. do the correct, right thing. Good luck..........

Yeah I think it's common for them to ask to bring additional information. What kind of proof did you originally submit with your application? How far away is the interview?
