Does anyone know where do i need to send the documents ?

drop in embassy mail box coz nowadays they dont take ppl. in so go to embassy in colombo and drop it. as soon as possible.

My friend's wife told me for her they have asked that national card and then gave VISa in 2 weeks or less!!!

thats impossible... they have 2 request the passport... mayb misunderstanding... thats never happened ... especially in canadian embassy in colombo .. they have 2 request the passport... coz nothing 2 do with NIC

OOO... nowadays impossible coz they have changed all the rules... first they scan all the file, then they have do the background check up thats always take 3-5 months ... they have to do certain process 2 proceed visa...

sometimes by luck too! but @least has to b 6 months from the day u applied.

Im at my 9th months and they requested commu. documents in december... nothing happened after that

wht happened ur 1st medical.. its expired or not?

if they didnt cl u b4 expiry date that means u have to w8 until they request another med.... they never give the with expiry medical...

I received my Caips/GCSM notes .. They clearly stated everything .. Sweet & Doublet , Y don't u both order ur Caips notes? For me, It s really useful ..

I got a mail from VO-Colombo. ;D They asked me to send the following documents.

*Please provide a copy of your National Identity Card.

*Please provide the English translation of the marriage certificate.

I already attached these two documents with my application . Anyway, thats not a pbm to send it again .. But my questions are; do i need to certify my NID copy? where do i need too send ?and Is it a good sign for me ? :

when you submit copies of any, you should certify it by a officer of the justice of court. its not like a ordinary lawyer. so, from where are you from in SL? send me a personal msg to me , i'll give you a that kind of a lawyer to certify your certificates.
or you should certify the originals from the foreign ministry. how ever, no matter what you have to certify the copies. dont send without certify.
