Oh wow...don't have your application? That's crazy but atleast you were able to find that out now instead of waiting. Hopefully the high commission of Canada understands and is able to be patient until your husband gets the police report. Just make sure that you har communication with them and that they are aware of the situation. Don't worry, everything will work out fine for you.

Nothing much....
I talked to Malay officer in Srilanka
to help us, they agreed ....
But don't know how long that will take.

I sent a letter to Canadian office in SL to
give us an extension.
Rest on God.
Praying now......

Hi, guys.
its been while since i posted. this my status for spousal Sponsorship. its been 4 months now since they sent the file to Colombo office. no answer. hope i will get an answer soon. i wanted ask if anyone knows why its says medical done. but i also sent my police reports and there is no acknowledgment posted saying that they received my police report any body having the issue ? please let me know. and i lived in Canada for 3 years, do i also need to request a police clearance from Canada for CIC or do they automatically take the info.

Thank you Sinthu4sutha and sweet3 . Yes i did sent communication proof like, Skype chat, snail mail(by post), i used magic jack so i only need to get that sent. In my case i lived with my spouse for a year . so there isnt much communication proof. but since being in Sri lanka. she has visited me twice in less than a year i have been here and each visit consisting of 1 to 2 months. Hope you guys get you visa's soon. I know its stressful and frustrating. especially when our loved ones are thousands of miles apart.
