PROCESSING TIME FOR RESTORATION OF STATUS/WORK PERMIT

Hello everyone,
I submitted my application to restore my status on October 16, 2024, and I'm still waiting to hear back from IRCC. I checked their website, and their processing times are 120 days. I wonder if anyone knows how to proceed if this lasts over 120 days. Can I reach out to anybody? Or do I need to stay put and wait?

Hi everyone, I need help. My application should be processed anytime now as I applied in Oct. But I might need to leave the country to receive an immediate medical treatment. It's serious. I know that we are not supposed to leave during the process but is it possible to have a permission for a temporarily leave...?

You can leave without issue but your restoration application will not be valid.
