@ Jaxon & Mars - My score is 435 points & I'm pretty much in a rush to go Canada. What are the chances..!!!
Chances are that you'll get into one of the next 3 draws. However, rush won't help because it would take about 6 months to get your visa after you get an ITA! If you get visa around December then it would be tough because it's going to be pretty cold out there and you might find it bit difficult to find a job during peak winter season!

Good luck!

Some people have mentioned that their score will increase if they get an ECA. Can someone please tell me how getting an ECA improves your CRS score? I didnt see anything like that while making the profile. All I know is that it is a prerequisite to make the profile

It is a prerequisite, but if you're married, you DON'T HAVE TO provide ECA of your spouse's degree, but if you do, you can get upto 10 points for that. That's probably the case.

8th draw for ITA is 453.. i guess my hunch is correct and many immigration lawyers agree. they will maintain the lowest score to 450 range, a big feeling that this is going to happen for the rest of the year.

looking at australia now

"CIC is currently comfortable at holding the CRS points around the 450 range. Realistically, this translates to a person who qualifies under one of the immigration streams but offers "something more" than just the bare minimum: whether it be Canadian job experience, higher education, or higher language ability."

Please reference properly. You are making a random analysis from a random lawyer guy sounds like it actually came from CIC.

No offense but perhaps you should read your own text again. Using quotation out of nowhere will just cause misleading.

@Jaxon - thanks for your valuable inputs. However, I just wanted to check that since the cut off is 453 points after the 8th draw, do you think that CIC are planning to keep it at 450 & above for this entire year..?? Let me know what you think..!!

screw this Express Entry System. I stduied back in Canada in 2005. At that time I was too young and niave to stay there. After completing my education I left Canada. Now I think that I made a huge mistake. I should have stayed there and gotten the immigration. Now when I wish to go there all doors seem to be closed. I have 446 on Express Entry. Even if I take IELTS again. I will get only 3 more points (max). I think its time now to start thinking of going to Australia.
