Hey,

So I got my PR card and my spouse did not. She got a letter to say her photographs did not meet the specifications, but some how mine did and they were the exact same!!!!!!!

We are travelling to the Caribbean in 2 weeks for a wedding that we are both in the bridal and groom parties!

They never took our work permits when we landed so she can still technically board the plane but will she get hassle when we land in Toronto with her CoPR? Even if we explain what happened. Its kind of CIC's fault too, as how can my photographs be ok and her's are not? Both were the same size and taken in shoppers!

Thanks,

DJ

Sorry to hear that.
Regardig the photos, if size is the same, what about her hair and/or face ?
I've been told by the photographer that CIC could refuse pics if hair are not attached or not enough close to the head, if people keep their glasses on, or if they are not neutral in their facial expression. If none of the above apply to your wife's photo, go to see a photographer and send them back.
Hope you will be able to fly to the Caribbean !

As soon as you have landed your previous visa has been expired. They might have crossed your 1 time entry visa as well, didn't they?
It's not CIC's fault that the photo did not meet the criteria.
Your best option is drive to USA and fly from and to there and drive back.
