PR Card Renewal Online 2024

Received an email from IRCC that says that IRCC has shipped my card to my address:
We verified the information on file and are pleased to inform you that your permanent resident card (PR card) was sent on June 10, 2024, to the following address
Timeline:
Application submitted: 02-Apr
Card shipped: 10-June
Called IRCC every other week to check the status since I did not get any update thorughout the process and the inspect tool showed this error for me "Your photo attachment has a technical error and cannot be opened/reviewed. Please review and correct the attachment before re-submitting. Please note, not all file types are supported"
It was a JPEG photo, so I did not understand what was the issue. However, in none of the calls with IRCC agent they pointed out that there was an issue.
No, I could not link the application. The status did not change. And today I received the first communication from IRCC on the PR card renewal topic.
Received my card today, here's the timeline:
Application submitted: 02-Apr
Card shipped email: 10-June
Card received: 13-June
I was not able to link the application. And starting from 16-Apr, the inspect tool started showing attachment error for the JPEG photo.

Hey everyone- I have not received my card yet so I reached out to my local PM and his team has sent a status request to IRCC highlighting the urgency. I’m still waiting for their feedback but the odd is that I was able to link my application to my GCKey account today. I’ve trying to do that since I applied but I always failed. The status still shows that it’s under process. Could it mean that it was approved but not yet reflected on the system? I remember someone said that he could only link it when his application was approved. Please let me know your thoughts.
P.S my application number started having an R since the first week after submission (about a month ago)

I'm currently navigating a challenging situation with my PR renewal and would appreciate any feedback or shared experiences from the community. Similar to many
Timeline:
May 8th: Applied for PR renewal due to an emergency (work-related). I submitted all required documents through the online portal and received a payment confirmation, but no email acknowledgment of the application itself.
May 28th: Sent a web email inquiry due to lack of updates.
June 3rd: Contacted customer service; was informed the system was down. They advised me to travel as planned and apply for a PRTD for my return.
June 6th: On the day of my departure, I received a request via web response to submit additional details, although they mentioned that no more information could be provided than what was visible online.
June 18th: Attempted to call again; was told the system was overloaded and to try calling another day.
Current Status:
I am currently staying with family abroad, uncertain of whether to wait for my PR card or proceed with a PRTD application.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? How did you handle it, and do you have any advice on whether to wait for the PR card or apply for the PRTD? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

If you're abroad, apply for PRTD right away.
Or you can travel through USA at land border (if you can enter USA).
