PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

I would recommend just filling out a new paper application, new photos and sending it in. You probably don't need to pay the fee again. I did my soft landing in 2020 at the height of COVID-19 pandemic and never got my PR card. Finally made plans to move to Canada. In Nov 2021, submitted new paper applications along with new photos and $50 receipts. Yesterday, got the notification that my PR card has been mailed and today got an email that they will be refunding the $50.

Did not know I could even do that. More depressing knowing I have to wait longer. Will try this and see how it goes. Have nothing to lose beyond $50. Just hate no one gives you exact answers.

My husband's PR renewal has the same timeline. Stuck on DM since December 22, 2021.

3. We started processing your application on January 6, 2022.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on February 24, 2022.

I am stuck too applied on October 25 and received AOR and Decision Made on January 11 and have not heard anything after that.

I am stuck on December 16,one of my friend applied January this year and she got her or card already.

Were new photos requested because its closer to 5 months. IRCC holds up the application and then expect us to run around again. Are you uploading Photos or mailing it to IRCC Novascotia - Sydney.

First of all why it took 5 months (after decision made) is the main doubt here. The letter we received said 'photos not matching the requirements'. Nothing specific. And we can only send by mail. No option to upload online.

Hello Vignesh, my wife's status is very similar to what you have updated above.

3. We started processing your application on December 9, 2021.

Status changed to 'Decision Made' almost 5 weeks back and no updates since then. My kid and myself received our PR cards 4 weeks back though all applications were sent as one package.

Nothing happens without the will and desire of Orwellian Triple Hermetic Secret Worshippers. If your PR card is not being printed, don't listen various excuses, but know that it is so desired, that you shall go without PR card. What is PR card for? Mainly for travel outside of Canada, so you can return to Canada. Thus, logical conclusion is that the feudal lords/slave owners don't want you get out of Canada, they want you permanently chained to Canada. Who else will pull the rickshaws on the streets of Toronto and Montreal?

Quick question, wanted to know if you get different AOR for family members? Mine has a similar timeline - Jan 20th, AOR - Feb 25th, but just concerned about my wife's app as i applied in one package. Appreciate your inputs.
