On what basis will you be applying for the open work permit?

Alright, good news from my side. I just received my card moments ago. It was sent with FedEx.

Mine is also the first card. But as I explained above if you have an emergency. Contact them and provide evidence. I did that a while ago using the web form. I suggest, in case of emergency, you do that. Then call them by phone.
Congrats!!!. Did you get any traking details and was it delivered to your mailbox or as a parcel at the door ? Thanks in advance.

No tracking information. It was delivered as a FedEx envelope, but since it requires a signature. They won't deliver until you are there.

Hey Guys,

I wanted to know what's the next step to expect. My application is INLAND SPOUSAL
My PR portal is created, I have sent out info to them in mail as was asked and in portal status is "In review with IRCC".

I called IRCC as I thought my PR card must be mailed out, but they told me you are yet to get eCOPR and a message confirming it is mailed out, so I guess it's not mailed yet. Am I right? and how long will this approx take to get eCOPR?

Are u saying they have sent all pr cards issued post nov 15 to service Canada? I have not received any update on this in my gc key. How will people know they r supposed to pick it up
As with in some cases, people received emails to have their PR cards to pick up at an IRCC office.

How can we arrange this pick up? Also can someone else go with the PRs photo id for the pick? Have they confirmed they r sending it to service Canada outposts? Can u send some link for the info pl.

is this for pr card also? Or for other documents? Has anyone done this pl? N how to raise this webform pl any link? Which courier is reliable n quick to do this?
I had my hopes up when I read this but this does not look like it is for initial, brand new PR cards. This looks to be an option for people that want their own original paperwork that they sent in to be returned. Passport? Driver's license? Etc. crap like this pisses me off. I get it. Canada Post people are striking cuz they want more money. You do it right before the holidays? I do not have any sympathy for you. And now that it's ongoing and my family is suffering greatly because I'm waiting for a PR card to be able to work and put food on the table? You definitely don't get sympathy for me. I was told at one point that PR cards COULD BE emailed to you but all of the information on the main website certainly doesn't even hint at that so all of our lives are hanging in a balance I guess because of greedy Canada post workers. Right now it says 28 days It would take to receive a card once you submit your photo etc. But obviously that 28 days could turn into months because of this stupid strike!

When will the Canada Post strike end? My son's pr card did not come. When I called ircc, they told me that it was dispatched on 9th November but it has not arrived yet.

Thank you!
How did you manage not to put a specific delivery date on your FedEx prepaid envelope so it can be an open date?
I don't want fedex to go for my package to IRCC and they don't having it ready.

Here’s a guide to help you submit the required documents for your PR card:

IRCC Webform

The IRCC webform is used to contact Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to provide documents or information about your application.
1. Webform Link: IRCC Webform

2. Steps to Use the Webform:
• Select the type of application you’re inquiring about (e.g., Permanent Residence).
• Provide your personal details and UCI (Unique Client Identifier), which you can find in your PR application.

• Attach any required documents (e.g., a copy of your COPR, passport, or any other request from IRCC).

• Write a message to explain what you are submitting.

Prepaid Envelope for PR Card Delivery
If you are in Canada, you may need to send a prepaid return envelope to facilitate the mailing of your PR card.

1. Steps to Get a Prepaid Envelope:
• Visit a FedEx location or go online to FedEx’s website to purchase a prepaid shipping label.
• Ensure the envelope has prepaid return shipping from the processing center to your address.
• Request a waybill or tracking number for your envelope.

2. FedEx Website for Prepaid Envelopes: FedEx Canada
• Alternatively, visit your local FedEx store for assistance.

To which address do we send the prepaid envelope? Is there any specific location we have to send to?

So whats the solution now? I am not in urgency so cannot prove it. My last PR card application update in GC key was on Nov 16 which said it has been mailed and can take 6 weeks. Now after this what? I have not received any mail for pick up. What should I assume? Its with Canada Post and therefore panic about it being lost? Or assume its with IRCC since strike started on 15 Nov and just wait? I tried calling but no ones answering even after 7 minutes of automated selections. Just says try again later. Should i just wait peacefully or panic and raise webform to ask where is my card.
Please help. Anyone else who has got their PR card?

BTW the news on the strike is bad. Both are going further apart and Canada Post has said not to expect any resolution soon.
