Oh hey! Me too! Ottawa must have been waiting for that approval, and now they're gonna crank out the paperwork (I hope)

Tell the CBSA officer - she or he will confirm it at the time of landing anyway.santoki said:I'm changing addresses as of today, but I obviously won't change it through CIC this late in the process. The question I have is, what's the best way to change address after the arrival of the COPR? I don't want the physical PR to be sent to my old address. Is it as simple as calling them up after landing and letting them know of the address change? Or is there a more formal form I'll have to submit?

It depends when he gets approval and when it expires. We are moving in April regardless if he has his PR yet or not because that is when my work starts so we are keeping our fingers crossed that he will have it by then so we can land then all at the same time as I'm a returning Canadian. Or if we get it soon and it expires before the move he will land at one of the BC borders because we are in the Seattle area.

Thanks for the link! I'm really hoping that we can just land on our way up to Ontario because I know my husband and he would get lost so bad even just flipping around on the Canadian side of the border to come home...lolcomputergeek said:CBSA maintains a list of POEs with immigration services: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/contact/listing/indexpages/indextype38-e.html
I landed at Douglas (Peace Arch) and it was quite pleasant. The facility at Pacific Crossing is also fine. Both offer 24 hour immigration services and either is convenient from Seattle (between 90-120 minutes drive to the border in my experience, though longer obviously if you are in Federal Way versus Bothell...)
