Thanks for sharing the Doc, It seems promising, I will say specially for Int'l students, as I am one of them.

If all the Changes mentioned above comes true then there is truly a Ray of Hope for us.

Best of luck to all who are waiting for ITA's.

We are sailing in the same boat, We spent loads of money to study here and then paid heavy taxes not to go back to our countries, but to call Canada our home.

Hope for the best and best of luck to all....

lol, i dont think every international student coming to canada will be eligible to apply for PR...
they will give additional points probably, but they wont make it like australia in the 90s - come here, do masters, apply for PR...
damn i miss those days - my brother and 1000s of others were pretty lucky

You paid lots of money for education - that's what you've got
Everyone who works in any country has to pay taxes when being there.
Studies cannot buy you PR unfortunately. But good luck

They still do. But you have to list French as your first language to get PT NOI which in my case will significantly reduce my CRS score (from 471 to 398). Therefore, I do not rush to do that (especially taking into account their super slow processing time).

I simply hope that the cut-off score will drop to mine in a couple of months.

Hey @Sluffy, I am not complaining about it, but unfortunately the rules changed after a month I completed my College....Canada needs economical migrants, which Int'l students have already proved (majority of them) that they are, as compared to FSW's, I am ot saying that they are less in any comparison, however It is always best to select the one who is already established in the system, as they say "in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king" :P

oh but ur wrong money does buy PR if u have 10mil yes u can buy immigration as an investor. So stop going on ur high horse.
International students are not asking to buy PR but rather trying to bring up the potential of keeping people who r already in Canada and who r already integrated than bringing in outsiders. Studies and after that working in Canada doesnt buy PR but it should put Int students ahead of others as Int students r exactly what Canada wants.
