To those who sent additional proof to POS how did u send it?

Is it possible to scan and email it to them instead of mailing via post?

Thanks

Hi FAD!
I added additional proofs back in April/ May. I sent it in the mail with FedEx. It was expensive, but I will pay anything to be with my husband. I haven't read anything on our forum about ppl scanning and emailing, however I have heard of others doing that with other VISA offices.
7 months today since our app was filed. Every day is one step closer!

On a completely unrelated note, there's a couple on tv talking about how hard it is to maintain their long distance relationship. She lives in California and he lives in Texas, and they're crying about how hard it is seeing each other only once a month >:( I want to bang their heads together on behalf of everyone here!

Whaaaaaat. Grrrr. I'm glad I'm not watching.. I leave early tomorrow morning.. :(

@fromadistance - I would mail it. Technically CSE's are supposed to be limited to 250 words and it might annoy them to get tons of attachments (although, I have heard of people attaching TONS of documents and their VO accepting them, but I personally wouldn't do it in case they ignore it due to it being over-size, etc). If they request something fast, I would send it CSE, but when I've sent documents and extra proof, I fedex'd it and I see where it was received and added into my notes, so I would do it that way.

My ticker says over 11 months now.. sigh.

Thanks ladies. I am working on a package to send to them. Hopefully that will give them a friendly reminder that our file is in their office.

@MissD..I know u probably hear it all the time but hold on. Your time is near. I strongly believe that.

Behopeful our time will follow.

Zouk-Did they request your original marriage certificate on PPR?

POS please give someone some good news. I would b satisfied with a generic response to my email.Prove to us that you all are not sick or retired and left our files taking dust somewhere in that office. Smh

They didn't, but we did provide it as part of our application, so they already had it.

I'm en route back to Canada after a 3 week visit with hubby. Always a crappy feeling when he can't come with...

I got off the plane in the US and a big poster greeted me that said "immigration is about a new start" and showed a happy family arriving. I almost tore it off the wall and burst into tears. I wish immigration would finally be a POSITIVE thing for us instead of what's keeping us from startting our lives. Sigh.

Hope all is well with everyone.

:( Sorry to hear. It is always the hardest part of the trip. Going through security and leaving our spouses behind.

Would love if Canada adopted the quick processing of spousal applications in the USA . Most people I know have gotten through within 4-6 months tops! I thought with the whole conditional visa thing that they would at least adopt that too.

hi forum

hope all is well @missd i hope your stay was good cherish those moments, and try not to rip off the heads of everyone you seeing with stupid signs they obviously have no idea what going on.

everyone else there is always an end and someday you will be looking back at this and laughing,

am up after one in the morning i stayed up so i can wish my loving wife a happy birthday, its funny we miss everysinge thing in the first 6 months we have been apart, we missed our brand new home together we missed my birthday, my wife birthday, my puppy first birthday, and our first wedding anniversary, also other little things like valentines and crap like that, but we remain steadfast, we could never get those one year back, espcially our wedding anniversary but what can we do at least we get to speak to each other every single day every single minute i think if we didnt have that then it would be far worse. anwyas forum

this weekend is carnival weekend untl tuesday so i wont be hearing anything until then hopefully, am still waiting on the ARC, so i hope i see everyone soon.

good night everyone enjoy your weekend and god bless

@millslu - You serious? Carnival weekend in POS? UGH! That means no work Monday and hangover for the rest of the week... sigh.

I'm back in Canada... I cried today when my plane landed and I walked by that special immigration room where they welcome all the new immigrants and they do their "landing".. It was completely empty and the girl at the desk smiled at me and I just kept walking.. and started to cry.. thinking, we should be walking in there right now and celebrating! Not a good day.

We need a landing... seriously.. it's been FOREVER.

I though tPOS already had carnival in February. I am assuming millslu means carnival in St Lucia?

I agree we need to hear something from someone. A PPR request would be awesome.
@missD, not that it matters but does ur ECAS show in process?

Nope. Still says application received since day I got AOR. They're not good with e-cas tho... IF they update it to In Process at all its usually when they're finishing up your file and you can expect PPR fairly soon (I've seen that a few times) but hardly ever update it properly during the actual process. The only way I knew mine was in process was from my notes.

I hope millslu means slu carnival. Pos doesn't need any extra holidays. Grrr

Okay probably I should stop stalking ECAS like a hawk then lol.

I just googled and it is St lucia carnival this weekend and not POS.

hahaha no threat@missd its carnival in st lucia hahah no more holidays for POS until i think september. yeh

Hi Millslu, thanks for the encouragement. I tend to lurk more than post when I get feeling drained by this process and I think other folks sometimes do the same. A retreat though, not a surrender :). Hope you and your wife are doing well. Blessings.

yeh @ canadatrini i hope @missd is ok she just left her husband she must be a little under the weather, how are you doing, i hope you are fine, it feels like POS is not doing anything it has been so quiet in this forum for 7 months except for a little action here and there.

i keep wondering if anyone from pos office ever landed this year. well we will keep guessin and wondering.

yeh i lurk around alot myself and try to find answer other places
