Seems like nothing... KGN thread poppin out PPRs like mad and we up in here hearing crickets chirpin it's so quiet. So frustrating. And now it's the weekend, so not gonna hear anything for days.

The only hope is that 1st quarter of 2013 is approaching and they do quarterly reports about how much work they've done... so sometimes you will see an increase around each 1/4 of the year.. so we might see things start to pick up for the March quarterly review... HOPE SO!

well i cannot understand that POS is doing so much more countries done KG but yet still we dont have much ppl on our forum, i think if there was more ppl we would know if anything is going on, but wow KG is off the hook with ppr. dont know if POS still in the carnival mood. well missd next week am gonna try to call to see if i can get anything from them, dont know if it will help but am going crazy here, spend all my time crying in KG forum. lol so happy for them its crazy.

POS does service more countries than KGN but KGN does have alot more applicants than POS for spousal sponsorship so no comparison there. I saw this on some website will try to get the link and post it. I just believe that POS does not have enough VO's dealing with people's files OR they r just plain lazy.

If you go to old forums and search for threads on POS u will see that even back then they did the same thing they are doing now. And as missD said, when quarterly updates are due they just dish out PPR'S--i guess to increase their figures? The Gov't really needs to audit that office I dont believe they had one since 1998.

Weekends are the worst!! But I am sure once we are reunited with our spouses we are going to LOVE the weekends again lol.

i know i was just telling my better half i cant wait for weeekends to be over and when the week comes and i hear nothing i cant wait for the following day to come, this is not a good way to leave i cant even enjoy my day anymore. but that is some interesting facts there about POS i just figured since they have like 25 countries and kgn have 4 or 5 tht meant that they have more applicants than KG. when is the first quarter finishing and maybe thats a good thing they dish it out before the quarter end maybe we will be in on that dishing out thingy lol wishfull thinking.

Well Carnival done, so they finish feting...some of us should be hearing very soon! They have lives too...sick days, off days, vacation, holidays...they probably adopted the Trini culture of being very laid back and love to lime! lol

I have an outside Canada sponsorship by my wife. my medical exams expired so i redid them while i am visiting my wife in Canada and the results were received in Ottawa medical center in Nov 8th, 2012.
Then, in Feb 7th, 2013. I received an email from Beirut visa office asking me do the medical exams!
how long does it take for the medical results to be received in overseas visa office from Ottawa?
are the medical results going straight to overseas visa office or processing center in Mississauga?
where are my medical result after 3 months?
please If anybody has any idea or similar experience!

when you medicals expired did you get a email from your visa office to do it or did you just do it yourself. if your visa office havent gotten you meds, maybe you need to call ottwa or email them and let them know that your visa office wrote you the email.

You will have to send a CSE (Case-Specific Enquiry/Email) to your visa office in Beirut. Make sure you fill in the info that shows your file number IN BEIRUT, your name, DOB, etc of you and sponsor. Tell them that you did your medicals on X date and they were sent to and received by Ottawa on X date. And that they should already have received them.

Your medicals should have been received after 3 months. When you sent them, did you put any identifying info on the package so that they could easily match them up to your existing file (ie. file number, both names, etc). Maybe they received them but had not yet had a chance to match them up properly.

Also, this thread is for people going through the Port of Spain office (in Trinidad and Tobago). You are welcome to stay here and post and we will help you out as much as we can! However, we wouldn't have info specifically about your office, as we only deal with POS.

I hope you send off your CSE and hear back soon!
