If you look at the spreadsheet, you will see that almost ALL the interviews last year 2011 applicants were waived. This year (2012 applicants), however, the majority of people have had interviews. Stinky.

And the prize goes to MissD for getting to page 300 first!

Well then, lets hope and pray that millslu's interview is the last one and that it turns out positive. Then no more interviews for POS for the year.

hey happy saturday to everyone,as a result to my interview, right now i have so many question to ask my councellor or rep, but @missd for those ppl that have gotten an interview letter did they relate to you how the letter looks, first of all my councellor send me an email with an attachment of the letter which was dated 1st of march, but the letter is a scanned document, so am wondering did the visa office typed a document scanned it and emailed it to her, but if they did why didnt she just forward it to me and my wife, but she didnt, it look like either she got a letter and she scanned it herself and sent it to me. and also the letter have our old address in canada and not our new address, for which we have given numerouse amount of information on our new address since january 18 2013. so there is many details on the letter were that am curiouse at if they got our package we sent in january with all the update on the new house, also insurance info benificenries, all the information they are asking me to bring i already submittd it in january. those are the number of things i am concerned am just thinking if they did receive that package there wouldnt be a need for an interview, anways i have a meeting with my councellor on monday midday and hope she will answer those question for me.

Sorry I've been a few days behind, congrats Millslu!!! It's so great to hear someone get an update and know that POS is indeed working!!!

Interview requests are sent both via email and letter mail, all depends on how POS is feeling that day! Check the date on the letter, that should give an indication of how it was sent. Address updates can take weeks, so it's not unusual that your old address is on the letter. You could send them a CSE saying that in preparation for your interview, you'd like to confirm that they received the package you sent in January, so as to plan better what documents to bring with you. I'm sure you'll get a response from them in decent time. If nothing else, bring everything they request. Those IOs can be VERY judgmental, and failing to bring the docs they request can be interpreted as a lack of interest from you. Have you ordered your gcms notes? Those should indicate exactly why they requested the interview, so you can prepare better. Good luck!!!

@zouk thanks for the advice my wife and i felt very much amazed at the wealth of knowledge and advice that yourll have given to the forum so far. but like i said it was a scanned letter that was dated on the 1st or march, almost 2 weeks ago. and we gave the the change address two months ago. and yes am planning to have a meeting with my councellor to have our CAIPS dont and also the CSE sent to.

hopefully i can get an idea of where i stand dont really care about the interview am just more concerned about time and if they have gotten our last package we sent, which has all the information they are asking for now. well i will keep yourll up to date.

You should send them a case-specific-enquiry (you can do that without your consultant, it's easy) and make sure they got your package you sent. Like Zouk said, they will probably reply but if they don't, you might have to bring the stuff with you again. You should order your GCMS/CAIPS notes through your consultant (or your wife can do it with your signed permission). These would tell you if your package was received (they make notes of stuff like that on your file) AND why they asked for an interview, so you can know what you have to address when them when you get there.

As for your address change... You updated it and it worked. Then when the system crashed on e-cas, your address went back to the old one. I think they incorrectly fixed your e-cas when it went down and just input your original info (ie. you will need to update your address again due to the crash).

In that case, they're just moving at POS speed with your address lol. I updated mine too a couple weeks ago through a cse and no response or change lol. I didn't change it myself on the website cuz my address never changed, they just entered it weird on my ecas. Oh well.

Hey Everyone!

I'm a bit slow to respond here but it sounds like some very exciting times for everyone, @ millslu especially! I still have a lot of time to wait for any sort of news but all of this is bring up tons of questions, excitement and nervousness.

Hopefully everyone will hang around a bit after they're approved.... it will be very quiet otherwise.
