I am confused about the PCC.

I have been living in Canada for almost two years (Study Permit and PGWP)

The CIC website says: "Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? No"

But I received the ITA and now I am supposed to attach it. The PCC is from all the countries including Canada?

Any suggestion here?
You need to provide all PCCs except for Canadian PCC. IRCC will send you request if they require a PCC from Canada.

Hi Harjit kaur dhaliwal,

Hope you are doing fine.

I have recently received an ITA and have a query regarding PCC as per your post in Feb 2017. Have you got an ITA? Have you taken PCC from your hometown in Punjab only or from Noida also? If Punjab only, has it been accepted by the CIC?

Actually I am in the same situation. I am from Haryana and my passport is also from Haryana with my permanent address of my hometown. I can get a PCC from PSK (Ambala). But, I live in Delhi for the last 8 years. So, do I need to get PCC from Delhi also?

Can you please help me with this. I shall be highly thankful to you.

Kind regards
Manoj

Hi

I want to get PCC from UK.

There is a part I am confused about:

"As part of your visa/immigration process you may have been provided with a case reference number and/or an appointed Case Officer/Immigration Officer who will oversee your application. Please provide the details below to assist ACRO in processing your application. This will assist in the delivery of your Police
Certificate if you have requested it to be sent directly to the embassy/high commission. You should obtain permission from your Case Officer/Immigration Officer before you provide the details below. Please note ACRO will not send Police Certificates by e-mail as the security features can not be replicated. "

Please somebody help what should I do for Canada Immigration?

I received my PPC from UK a few months back. I applied online and chose the option of having it sent to my current address in my home country.

If you need any more assistance/clarification write to Customer Care on ACRO website. They're usually very prompt in replying and send very detailed responses to questions asked.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi

Thank you for the reply. How much did it cost you to send to your home country?Did you pay 48 pounds extra or just standard 45 pounds?

Regards

I paid the standard £45 and received the PPC by Royal Mail in a few weeks. Fortunately, the procedure was smooth and hassle-free for me.

Good luck.

If you have never visited India after obtaining this PCC, then yes your Indian PCC is still valid. Make sure you mention this thing in LOE as the first page of PCC section.

Hi Seniors. I have posted this question on other threads as well but haven't found an answer yet.

I have to submit Singapore PCC or COC (Certificate of Clearance). Before I started working in Singapore, I visited Singapore three times on visit-visa in the same year(1). Then before getting the employment pass, I travelled again on the travel approval (2) for employment pass and after couple of weeks(3), was issued the employment pass.

The appeal form on Singapore Police website asks for the period of stay in Singapore using start-date and end-date fields. Considering that CIC wants a PCC for the entire duration of stay in a country if it is more than 6 months, while Singapore Police website is asking all the information based on Employment pass, what date should I use in my COC appeal; (1), (2) or (3)?

Friends please help me understand how 6 months is calculated for purpose of determining whether PCC is needed or not. Is it purely on basis on actual number of days e.g. 183 days OR from month-to-month.

E.g. - If someone stayed in a country from 31-Jan-2010 to 01-Jun-2010 -> Which of the below calculation is correct -
1) Actual days = 122 days ~ 4 months
2) Month-to-month = Jan-Jun ~ 6 months

Please advise :)

Do you know when they usually require PCC from Canada (from people, who have lived in Canada, but currently do not live in Canada)?

No idea. There are quite a few people who have submitted Canadian PCC upfront with e-APR without any request from IRCC.

Hello everyone,
I am in Canada from past 3 years. I got ITA and I m gathering all documents. I am confused whether I need a fingerprint based police clearance certificate for Canada or just simple police clearance certificate based on name and date of birth(without fingerprints)?
Thanks

Something regarding Canada PCC here - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp
Police certificates are required up front and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has lived for a total of six months or more.

Hello Guys,

I came in Canada at the age of 17 and turned 18 a couple of weeks later. I haven't left Canada since, do I still need a PCC? Why is it showing up on my personal checklist if not?

It's good that you have clarified your scenario here. In this case, even though your actual days of residence are below 180, the VO takes Jan-June period into consideration and will want you to submit a PCC for this country. So, it's better that you obtain a PCC for this country.

If the authorities of this country deny you the PCC as you resided less than 180 days, then you must obtain evidence (email or letter) stating the same and explain IRCC the reason why you could not obtain PCC for this country.
