Police clearance certificate?express entry

Hello all, sorry If I am posting this now, but I dont know where to post this. I received my COPR, and I plan to land in Canada around September. My police clearance from my home country is expiring this June. Now my question is should I get a new police clearance/certificate before I land in Canada since it is expiring this June? I have been thinking about this, hopefully someone can help me answer this query

PCC is not required if you already have received COPR document. Just land before your medical expires.

I have a query. My last visit to another foreign country was to Qatar in the year 2011 July and stayed for 7 months. its 25 oct 2020 now and after 8 months its be been 10 years since I travelled. Do I need a PCC from Qatar or does the Canada ask this. If I am waiting for 8 months or more I dont think its required to be applied and IRCC will ask for this

If its more than 10 years, then PCC is not required. So if you receive ITA and you file your PR application now, then you need PCC else after 8 months, its not required.

Have anyone's PCC got accepted from Local District Police Station ?

Wouldn't recommended it. Get a PCC from PSK.

Hello all,
I have started the process of my PR to Canada. I have a doubt regarding the pcc. I have been staying in Qatar for the last 8 months in business visa. One of my friend told me that in Qatar you can only get a PCC if you have a resident permit. Is any one having any idea regarding this? Has anyone faced this problem before?? Please help me out.

I stayed in india from April 28-Oct. 4 and technically this is not 6 months, but in my forms they are asking me to upload PCC from india. How do they count 6 months? Is it literally per month or per days?
