I wouldn't be so sure. My application is now delayed. We did not have criminal history, CIC did not ask for additional documents, my family status did not change, medicals are still valid. The only thing I can think of is my husband's visa denials.

there could be a lot of factors. sorry to hear that. is your husband in canada now after refusals? i had 3 and my wife 1.

Got Gcms notes last saturday morning (Sept 15). Last note was on July 09 (when I got the ghost update) and it says:' File approved and RFV'. Nothing since then...

No updates on Gckey account and ECAS. Same 7 lines since months. Last one is 'Medical results have been received.'

You should call them and ask that u have not received ppr email. Your ppr email might be in a queue. My friemd got ppr after 1 month 20 days after ghost update.

Eh my friend. I called SEVERAL times after July 09 and they all the officers told me:
officer 1 = yes congratulations! your file was accepted. you will receive the email soon
officer 2 = no I don't see your file is accepted yet but everything seems in order. Just wait.
officer 3 = your file is in order and still within the 19 months processing time
officer 4 = your file is completed and wait for the next step. Because it is within the 19 months processing time is everything normal.
Of course after 19 months and 1 day I called again and the officer sent a reminder to the officer in charge to show him/her that the processing time is exceeded. But on the phone the officer told me 'it may take 30 days'. Wow incredible!
I sent also a web form just to make them busy telling them the processing time is exceeded.
More than that I don't know what to do...

I also called CIC today's morning. the agent told me that everything is completed (eligibility, criminality, etc.), you will be informed soon. But nothing has changed on my ecas! Still says "we are reviewing your eligibility"!!! this long waiting has been a huge hassle for me. A very good job offer would be gone if I couldn't provide them my PR until Oct. 1st.!!!!
