Yes , you will have to answer YEs for”“ Have you been told by an Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office that you are approved in principle for permanent residence in Canada?”. Saying yes is the only way to get BOWP. If you answer NO , you will not get an option for BOWP .Thanks a lot. I have spouse in my PR application but I'm the principle applicant. If you have selected "NO" to all those three questions then did you select "YES" to the question "Have you been told by an Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office that you are approved in principle for permanent residence in Canada?" that comes afterwords???
Any one else has the same confusion? Thanks.

I feel the same wayJan 16 2017 still waiting for PPR .
Have no idea what happen and what they trying to prove while holding few files keep issuing PPR for other batches . Really don’t understand what taking so much time .
Clean case , everything approved , no criminal history , medical pass , no travel history . Still they took 21 months or more to approve PR . No words can describe time going through really stressful.
I think, no matter from what countries we are!!! all of us have stuck in background check (we are not lucky people)!! that is the only reason that our cases have delay! in my case everything was approved, but no update, approaching to 20 Months in Sep. 27!!!Jan 16 2017 still waiting for PPR .

Call them yesterday and he told me I can’t see anything in your file and officer not left any note . Everything is clear and ready for decision.
Agent told me he gonna write a note to officer so that he can make a decision or tell the reason why they holding file for no reason.
So basically there is no time limit for processing file . I apply two work permit and submitted two medical as first one was expire.
So tired and frustrating seriously.
