Hi,
Thank you for the reply, my online status doesn't say anything about medicals and I cannot connect to my CIC because I have a representative.

Let's give it a time... it seems like 3-4 weeks are normal nowadays for ecas update after the e-medical submission.

Your passport for work permit?

What application you're talking about? Why they need your passport to issue you work permit?

My application is under PNP with employment offer. You can apply for WP alongside the PR if you have that.

Passport required to issue something like this on the passport page (from google images):

This is called TRV - Temporary Resident-visa.

Yes, in that case they need passport because probably had applied for new TRV along with your work permit application. CIC do not ask for passport when its only work permit application.

I believe it's lack of my knowledge. Had no idea it's called TRV.

However, any idea how long it takes for the visa office to return the passport?

Around two weeks.
But this will be separate mail as your work permit will be coming from different office. It means you will have one courier mail for passport and one for work permit.

Appreciate the response Hammer. Thanks!

Hi Fiends,

Help me pls, I am a BC PNP inland applicant filed
PR application in Feb 2016 and got AOR in April. In Sep 27 I got an email from CIC to pay my RPRF and to do the medicals, I went to the pannel physician and done with medicals. But the problem is I did not receive any medical report form from CIC. What can I do now? pls reply.

you wont get medical report. Doctors send them directly online to cic, if in ecas said medicals received thats it, they got them, u need to wait until in your "my cic" account says medicals passed or in ur GCMS notes if you request them.

hope it helps

How much time will it take to get the application number for paper based work permit....

You better contact CIC for precise info.

I heard it can be done anywhere as long as the doctor is on cic list. Can anyone advise, please?
