it depends on VISA office, but the 15 months starts from from the day you Got AOR, then your application will be in que, so between 7-11 months is medicals, so within 1 months after, ppr and visa issue, anyway this timeline is common with Accra visa office, i dont no of South Africa

I disagree. 15 months start from the date of application receipt. You can go back and get it right on IRCC website
(http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp#)

"Processing times tell you how long it took Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to process applications in the past after receiving a complete application package Processing times can vary, depending on how many applications IRCC receives........"

I take it you applied via Express Entry? If this is the case do a Case Specific Enquiry on your file when you reach the 6 month mark. They will then flag your application and it will speed up the process. The timeline depends on which Visa Office is processing your application. Some are faster than others.
I went to my Local Visa Office yesterday to see them in person. They allow this only on the first Tuesday of each month. They only open at 08:00 am but I was told to be there earlier on another forum as there are a lot of people enquiring on their files. I arrived there 06:15 am, was third in line and by 08:00am ther were +- 40 people in line.

I went in 08:00 am. They checked on the online system first and then pulled my original file to show me they received my original PCC's. The consultant said I will receive MR within a week or two. I then asked how long after medicals for PPR, she said between a couple of weeks or a month.

I am so excited that my file is finally moving into the right direction!

Wow! nice one Druce

BOWP does not allow you to re-enter Canada. You need to apply for a temporary resident visa.
Look up "Apply for a new temporary resident visa from within Canada" on google and you will find a link to the application process

Thanks mbshez for the response...

Hi, i sent my application on Feb 29,2016 and received my acknowledgement receipt on the same day. Schedule 4 form was also submitted right after that. Right now, its been over 5 months, and the status for eligibility is " review in progress" and medical results are passed. documents have been provided. But i still haven't got the passport request. Is this usual ? its been 5 months and i'm still waiting.
It is even more than usual my friend. The processing time is 15 months. So, it is going....

Hi premchandkv

Are you an inland applicant or outland? Could you please update your profile with detail timeline? What is your VO?

Received MR this morning and have already made the appointment for 10 August 2016.

Seems like my application has finally landed in the hands of someone competent ;)

I am also in same situation buddy, Inland paper applicant.

I received AOR on March 20th. It seems, it is taking us 7 months to get MR now. After MR, 3 months for landing.

Hope for the best and wait. :(
