Hey, I just got the same email from CIC, and it asks me to link my paper file on mycic account. ;D
I am January applicant inland.

I couldn't link my application. I think we should try after 24 hours.

May be we will get MR in couple of weeks, lets see....

Damn!! I thought I was special when I got that email in the morning. Although my application was already linked.

btw samv02, you should have been able to link your application, I got access to it in March right after the AOR.

For a mint, I felt same... I thought it was MR... I will try tomorrow again to link it. I think we are getting closer.. wait for MR....

I hope they still notice us of MR by email.

After connect with cic you will get email that is

"Your application is now linked to this account. You can access this application from your account page, under "View my submitted applications or profiles".

also you can check your processing in your cic account.

Hi, I also received email a couple days ago to link my account, but it's unfortunately not working. Got asked to send all police clearances 2 weeks ago so I hope it's not to long till they ask for Medicals. I applied paper based inland Provinivial nominee in Dec 2015.

Hello everyone!

I have received AINP and planning to file application with Federal for Permanent Residency. I am in a confusion
regarding signatures on PR application and other forms. My current signatures are slightly different from the passport signatures which is 8 years old. is it a issue ? If so, please suggest me a solution for the same on urgent basis.

Nigeria, well i cant say which 1 is faster out of the 2, but wait druce, what if you didnt go to your visa office to complain that day, will you have recieved MR by now
2, where they kept your file, are there many files there, are they picking it at random, or how are they processing it

I was only at the counter, the lady assisting me told me to take a seat and wait, she went inside where they were processing the applications. There are loads of computers and people sitting behind them but not a lot of paper files that I could see from that far. After about 10 minutes another lady returned with my file and told me I will get my MR within the next 2 weeks, I received it after 2 days. I also asked her how long for PPR after medicals and she said it will be fast "a couple of weeks, maybe a month"

I went for the medical and it was a breeze, truly, God was with us!

They did a very basic medical examination:
1) Checked our weights
2) Checked our lengths
3) Checked our throats
4) Listened to chest/breathing
5) Urine sample
6) Blood sample
7 Chest ex-ray

Was done and dusted in 2 hours time.

Now, lets wait for one month and see ;D

I was following your posts for quite a long time although we never had conversation before. I appreciate your proactive attitude. The way you went to Pretoria visa office and managed to speed up your processing, that was really inspiring. God bless your future life.
