Background check IP or NA wouldn't matter. Mine has been in process ever since I created mycic right after AOR. It's been like that for over a year now. May 2016 applicant, June 19 medical, no update on medical result yet.

looks like they're way busy with EE guys.

Even they knows that we waited for PNP for super long and now paper based is taking way more and they're approving EE in 2-3months and 4months max.

Normally their process time is 6months.
Is that FAIR?

there is no point to compare PNP paper with EE, bro. I just want to keep track of how CIC commit to finish our application within the 16 months time frame. Next month will be the last month for us

15.5 mnths gone
Called them yesterday
Criminality in process
Security not started
Called them twice got two gcms notes within last 3.5 mnths nthing moving
Last update was march 18 medical passed
After 18 march they didnt even touch my file

What the heck they are doing ?? They got PP since 15th and Its so frustrating !!!!

Did anyone recently got their PP stamped ? Its mental harassment. It's just the damm visa man, come one put it and sent it.....

It can be within 10 days from DM unless they pretend to busy and delayed.

I have observed that, they were stamping PP within 3-4 days when they receive. Even if you are applying for work visa, its same thing. It has been 14 days!!!!

It's matter of time, many applicants applied after me already landed. Because they dont send PP right away usually, I am guessing to get our PP in next week. They dont want us to go at border on CanadaDay weekend lol

It was almost same for me. They will not touch our file until 16 months has been passed (to start security). Criminality should be finished by now. Before DM, security is last stage. When your security will start , you will receive DM soon. (Unless your nationality affect or you worked in military or something like that can be little delay )

I just checked ECAS today, it says decision made too! I guess I just need to wait for the PPR!
