Ricky, I am just happy that I am in the game (thus far) and they have not sent back my file. I was in agony about that for weeks.

My friend I have been on this immigration roller coaster to know that this is not the end. I am just rejoicing that at the very least for now, I am being considered for permanent residence. I have been living here for 5 years. I know about waiting.

i came here a year after you in march. i have been a worker student and worker. faced an enormous amount of abuse for 18 months at my previous employer just so that i could get my nomination papers - waited 14 months for that. i could tell you so many stories about pain and suffering. this country and the immigration process has made me cynical but again i will say i am happy for right now. in the months to come, i look forward to weeping and wailing again. 8)

I got nominated from Nova Scotia under Skilled Worker on 09 February 2016. I sent my application for PR on 18 February 2016.

Got new work permit on PNP certificate which I closed. So freaking depressing.... m literally counting days man..

I got my mpnp nomination as a single lady but got married and applied to cic for pr with my husbnd included in
my application,can anyone pls advice me on the advantages and disadvantages in this...... and again can I get pregnant now or will it delay my application?

Thank you znarfier. Yours is coming very soon! I hope PPR will come within a month. Based in the recent timeline, they normally receiving PPR within 2 months.

Total timeline processing is 15 months. How can you get MR and PPR in 2 months?. wrong advice from member.

Same story here. Stuck with same employer for 18 months. Bcoz of this immigration, he is not giving me raise and sucking my blood like anything. He is paying way below than BC Government pay scale for my role.

I did my Masters in Canada and paid $36K academic fee. With this salary, I have zero savings in my account. When we are educated, had good job and paying good taxes for Gov; whey do we need employer support ?

I have tons of people who stuck with employers. I am really sorry for people who ever in this situation.

I just hope this immigration timeline would pass soon..

Hi, finały i'm done with Meds
My doc told me it takes usually a week before they will upload result to CIC. And then some doctors in London, England(at least in my case and regarding my location) will review our result and give recommendation to VO. it explains why people are saying that it takes over two weeks before results are declared received.

Congrats for wp bro ....I need AOR to extend my work permit as my employer can't give me LMIA....what's the latest date CIC is issuing AOR for inland applicants

Hi guys.. i have just submitted by application to CIC but right now, I'm very worried about NOT putting my middle name (surname when I was not married yet) on the forms.. I didn't write it because the forms indicated only GIVEN NAME(S) and FAMILY NAME. In example, My name is Claire Reyes Ocampo.. Reyes is my middle name (my last name when I was still unmarried) and Ocampo is my Family name or surname of my husband. Now, I only indicated Claire when asked of GIVEN NAME(S) and did not in any instance included "Reyes".. Do you think I will have problems and CIC will return my docs?

yes i submitted additional documents by courier on the address they provide. EFL Canada House.
For the details they required (color the eyes etc.) i type it on word. Stating my application number then bullet(ed) type of the details.
Do not forget also to put your application number outside of the envelop for their easy reference. (they mention it on the mail)
RPRF i pay through Debit card. so only two papers are inside the envelop which i paid for 220aed ;D
