YES... line 4 will be added stating that they submitted you correspondence on this date and you need to submit whatever docs they required before 30 days from the date you receive the correspondence.

Just a small clarification. Will it be specifically mentioned that it is a medical request? One line was added to my account but I am not sure if it was for the medical request since I have also requested my VO for the requirements for adding a dependent. The date I received the email for adding a dependent is also the same as the date in ECAS update. I just want to make sure that I didn’t miss any email specially the medical request. Below is the 4th line added in my ECAS, kindly confirm if it is the same as the medical request you have.
“4.We sent you correspondence on XXXXX. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the corresspondence will outline all information that is required.”

no.. they will not specifically mention it. you need to check your email and check your inbox on the date they mention.

if the mail you received is the same with your ecas update then maybe it's not MR.

they send Medical request in a separate email with PDF attachment of Form IMM1017. check your spam folder. which visa office handling your file?

Inland or outland?
Please specify inland/outland for your dates if possible. It seems like that makes a huge difference in processing times.

I am inland BC PNP applicant and paper application.

I have a question .. If anybody do the medical upfront without medical request then is there any backfire or not. And if he can do so then what is the procedure to send the medical report because there is not gonna be any specific number then for that. And do you guys suggest for that or not ?
