CIC received my application in Nov 2015 and sent me AOR in Mar 2016. I didn't know I should have submitted PCC from Canada. Do you know if I should request PCC in Canada now and provide this to CIC before they request?roaringpanthers 12345 said:I am inland and did RCMP criminal record with finger prints check. It took almost 2-3 weeks to get report. Processing time varries according to no# of applications and location of office. Go to nearest RCMP office and ask for criminal record with finger prints check for immigration. They take finger print same day or have to get appointment with RCMP office. Once when they take finger prints computer send information to Ottawa RCMP processing centres and we get report back from our home base RCMP office.
All inland applicants has to submit this at some time of the PR application. Few submit upfront along with application and for those who didn't submit it will get a PCC request email.
Best of my memory RCMP PCC is valid for 6 months.
Usually CiC request updated schedule A at some time of the application. And they may ask for updated PCC from all applicable countries with regards to your updated schedule A. If they notice we have travelled after the previous PCC issue date they may ask updated PCC.
Thanks
