Just some feedback. I sent a CSE (about a month and a half ago) regarding my PCC's that has/will pass the 6 month date and if I should submit them now or request new ones. I received a e-mail from the Canadian High Commission in Pretoria last week Friday that I should submit the originals to them (one of these older than 6 months and the other 2 reaching the 6 month mark in a couple of days) and that they will instruct me if they new new ones oce my case has been reviewed (does this mean they have not yet started on my case?). They did not state how I should send these and to which address even though I also asked this in the CSE.
I have already requested and received my new PCC's. So I was in Gauteng for business Monday and decided to visit the CHC, Pretoria. I was not allowed to enter the premises and security asked me to to put the documents in a sealed envelope with my file number & full names written on it. I then gave it to the security officer who went inside, submitted the documents and came back to tell me that it was received by one of the processing officers and they also checked my file to see if there is no other documents currently outstanding (which there wasn't) .
In front of the entrance there is a sign that says "Submission of Applications - every first Tuesday of the month 09:00 am TO 10:00 am and Passport Collections - every first Tuesday of the month 10:00 am TO 11:00 am". I asked the security officer about the times and she advise me to be there at 07:00 am as you usually have to queue and sometimes people get turned away if there are too many applicants or if they are late.
I should receive my GCMS notes next week. If there is no significant progress of my application and I dont have any news by 29 April I will visit them 3 May and then give feedback again.
