They did that to our friends too! BEWARE! They will request one for your husband too, once they have yours.
If you don't send them for both, the process will be delayed by few weeks.
I would do medicals and police clearance certs for all applicants, just in case.

I have also applied with my spouse .... she is in back home....how that thing work??

Also waiting for MR

Just some feedback. I sent a CSE (about a month and a half ago) regarding my PCC's that has/will pass the 6 month date and if I should submit them now or request new ones. I received a e-mail from the Canadian High Commission in Pretoria last week Friday that I should submit the originals to them (one of these older than 6 months and the other 2 reaching the 6 month mark in a couple of days) and that they will instruct me if they new new ones oce my case has been reviewed (does this mean they have not yet started on my case?). They did not state how I should send these and to which address even though I also asked this in the CSE.

I have already requested and received my new PCC's. So I was in Gauteng for business Monday and decided to visit the CHC, Pretoria. I was not allowed to enter the premises and security asked me to to put the documents in a sealed envelope with my file number & full names written on it. I then gave it to the security officer who went inside, submitted the documents and came back to tell me that it was received by one of the processing officers and they also checked my file to see if there is no other documents currently outstanding (which there wasn't) .

In front of the entrance there is a sign that says "Submission of Applications - every first Tuesday of the month 09:00 am TO 10:00 am and Passport Collections - every first Tuesday of the month 10:00 am TO 11:00 am". I asked the security officer about the times and she advise me to be there at 07:00 am as you usually have to queue and sometimes people get turned away if there are too many applicants or if they are late.

I should receive my GCMS notes next week. If there is no significant progress of my application and I dont have any news by 29 April I will visit them 3 May and then give feedback again.

I guess Sep applicant have to wait MR until June 2016????
Any one have idea? :o

Hi Druce,
Just a quick question. How do you know where your file is transferred to? CIC gave me file# on March 8 2016 and after that haven't heard anything from them. I don't know what should I expect next after receiving AOR. Do you have any idea? I'm inland applicant.

Thanks!

The next step you should wait is for MR medical request.
We applied CIC in Sep 2015 still waiting for MR.

Some Visa Offices will send e-mail confirming your file has been transferred, some wont. I send a CSE and asked if my file has been transferred and I received an e-mail response from my Local Visa Office confirming they have received my file.

From which country are you and where do you think your file will be transferred to? If you know this you can guesstimate/assume when you will receive feedback. Next for you will be an e-mail confirming file transfer or MR.
