sent mine on 29th Sept as well, return tracker still not activated.

Wife already got stamped passport back on Monday in India.

Usually it takes 2 weeks right ?

I am laid off from last couple of months so around 6.5 months left in to E.I (E.I is around 8 months)

I have heard the PoF is 6 months worth the funds. In this case will the border officer will be satisfied? or will object?

They should be okay...
two way to show PoF, you have the money or you have the future revenue that will cover that amount in a year.

But, I am not sure how Border officer will react as your future income will come from E.I, If possible, take a loan from someone.

But i was asking, my passport with CIC for PR VISA stamping, for any emergency during this time any way?

Sorry, i thought once you have your passport and waiting for PR card. In my guess you'll be guess waiting for your passport and can send CSE inquiry to IRCC with proof of emergency or some details in that case they might expedite return of passport. Others can comment further...

Turnaround time is around 17-21 days to get your passport. Hopefully you are very close.

I am thinking to land at CIC Ottawa as I live in Ottawa ,hope i'm not asked for PoF . Getting funds is a challenge and at this time very hard to manage.

My PR application was received by Nova Scotia office on AUG 27,2016.Still waiting for AOR.I was nominated by Ainp.I have few questions.I am on close work permit now,Can I apply for an open work permit once I Receive my AOR.IF yes then can i change my employer after i get an open work permit...And do i need to inform that to AINP as well after i change my employer???and do i have to work Under same NOC for which i was nominated by AINP or i can just work anywhere?
