the ones taking 3 months vacation is the senate!! not CIC. CIC employees might have 2/3 weeks as normal people, which doesnt mean everybody takes the same amount of days at the same time.

I think we wont see any movement tomorrow or today, so let's just pray next week will be better

Not a june applicat( july one). I didnt see any new ppr request this week. This makes me more stressed . I keep thinking mine will take more time if they didnt process june applicant faster. Dont mind i am just stressed worried etc. Best of luck everyone

wOW THIS CANADA POST STRIKE IS A NEW BUMMER ON TOP OF EVERYTHING THAT WE ALREADY WAIT MORE THAN A YEAR FOR FEDERAL FILE DECISION...i HOPE SO I M GETTING BY NEXT THURSDAY AS I SENT MINE IN EXPRESSPOST BOTH SIDES ON JUN 17TH THEY RECEIVED ON JUNE 20TH AFTERNNON TIME AND STILL NO UPDATE AT ALL ..

WHILE ECAS SAYS DECISION MADE FROM LAST 2 DAYS BUT CIC acount STILL SHOWS "BG in Progess"...
just wondering i hope so i didn't want ME OR ANYBODY ELSE in any trouble for the return envelope thing from cic just becoz of CANADA POST STRIKE..

when did you send pp to cic? I sent on 13th, they received on 14th, my cic file was closed on Tuesday and got decision made today, but return tracker not active yet

Decision was made on 9th June

I called them and they are saying when it will be 15 months, only then they can help.
They are saying be patient and wait.

Did your passport arrive? How were you able to see the delivered status without tracker being activated?

Yes I got my passport. Last step ahead landing. I got only one status in my tracker delivered idk why

Does anybody know what status do we hold after we receive a passport with PR visa but before we land? Is it still technically a temporary worker?
